Tuesday’s 9th race from Will Rogers Downs is a $20,900 entry level allowance event for fillies and mares dashing five and one-half furlongs on the main track (Post Time 6:15 p.m. ET).
#6 SWEET CAROLINA (4-1) ran well in all three dirt sprints and her numbers are rising. The New Mexico shipper is now trained by Chris Hartman, and she figures to stalk the pace under David Cabrera.
#12 Always In the Munny (3-1) finished in the top three in all three dirt sprints, and earned an improved number in a clear runner-up finish at Sam Houston Feb. 26. She shows back-to-back local bullets for this.
#5 Love to Learn (8-1) easily captured her last two starts at this course and distance in the restricted claiming ranks. The sharp mare steps up to face better foes and projects a stalking trip.
#2 Sandy Sangria (6-1) is 2-for-2 in local sprints at this distance, and she looked good defeating next-out allowance winner Keena April 20.
