Wednesday's Best Bet: Lawton lays down the law at Will Rogers Downs

Wednesday’s 9th race from Will Rogers Downs is a $17,050 Handicap event for 3-year-olds and up dashing six furlongs on the main track (Post Time - 6:15 p.m. ET).
#3 LAWTON (3-1) exits a solid show finish in his first start after the Karl Broberg claim. He captured three of four starts before that, and a stalking trip under David Cabrera is expected.
#4 Shred the Rules (6-1) finished 1st or 2nd in his last seven starts, and won four of those races. He is sharp and versatile, and could easily score again for recently hot connections.
#6 Oil Money (5-2) set the pace and held on by a neck at 18-1 odds in a local stakes victory at this distance April 7. He does some of his best work at six panels and can repeat for the productive Ty Kennedy and Robertino Diodoro team.
#5 Drc All Inclusive (6-1) finished in the top three in eight of his last ten starts. He has a profitable jockey-trainer team in his corner, and he should get pace to chase.
