Tuesday’s 9th race from Will Rogers Downs is a $20,900 entry level allowance event for fillies and mares traveling one mile on the main track (Post Time 6:15 p.m. ET).
#5 MO GAYLE (4-1) was clearly second best in a restricted claiming route in the slop at Fair Grounds Feb. 10. Sharp trainer Karl Broberg claimed her that day, and she projects a stalking trip under quality local rider David Cabrera.
#1 Hoyam (6-1) stretched out and broke her maiden in a special weight affair this course/distance April 6. She should be forwardly placed from the rail.
#4 Nocturnal Mission (2-1) is a sharp mare with early-pressing speed. She exits a romping local victory in a restricted claiming race at this distance, and Scott Young reached in and nabbed her for $7,500.
#2 Figure (5-1) exits a clear runner-up finish in a similar local spot, and the winner of that heat returned to score again. She likes hitting the board.
