Wednesday's Best Bet: Matapan can win the battle in Swihart Memorial

Wednesday’s 4th race from Fonner Park is the Al Swihart Memorial Stakes for fillies and mares dashing six and one-half furlongs on the main track (Post Time - 6:25 p.m. ET).
#6 MATAPAN (6-1) did not have the best trip from an inner post in the common Runza Stakes April 14. I like the switch to the second leading rider, and she should be in the hunt throughout. She is good enough to take this on her best day.
#7 Eaton’s Memory (3-1) captured her last three starts including the local Runza Stakes. The early-pressing type drew outside again and could easily make it four straight.
#4 Chub’s Charmer (7-2) completed the exacta for the fourth straight race in the Runza. The extra distance of this race does not hurt her cause.
#2 Our Musical Moment (5-2) has speed and likes to win races, but the two outside horses have the tactical post position advantage. The logical contender might take too much win action.
