In tonight's series finale, Boston hands the ball to righty Nick Pivetta (8-5, 3.25 ERA) and Toronto sends out fellow righty Alek Manoah (9-2, 2.05 ERA). This line opened with the Jays listed as a -145 home favorite and the Red Sox a +130 road dog. Pros are riding the Jays to complete the sweep, steaming Toronto up from -145 to -160. Toronto is 34-22 as a favorite, 23-14 at home and 35-25 against righties. Toronto leads the season series 7-2, including 5-1 at home against Boston. The Jays are 6-1 in the last 7 starts by Manoah.
9:38 p.m. ET: Chicago White Sox (35-38) at Los Angeles Angels (36-41)
These non-division AL foes have split the first two games of the series. The Angels took the opener 4-3 as -140 home favorites and then the White Sox bounced back with an 11-4 win yesterday, cashing as 110 road dogs. In tonight's rubber match, Chicago starts righty Michael Kopech (2-4, 2.59 ERA) and Los Angeles counters with two-way ace Shohei Ohtani (5-4, 2.90 ERA). This line opened with the Angels listed as a -135 home favorite and the White Sox a +115 road dog. Pros have laid the chalk with the Angels, steaming Los Angeles up from -135 to -175. Non-division home favorites are 270-197 (58%) this season. Los Angeles also has correlative betting value as a favorite in a low total game (7.5). The Angels are 28-22 as a favorite. The White Sox are 11-19 as a dog. Ohtani has a 1.88 ERA in June and the Angels have won three of his four starts so far this month. Kopech has a June ERA of 5.23 and the White Sox have lost four of his five starts this month.
