I played Arsenal +0.5 in Leg 1 because they have had Liverpool's number in Cup matches and they did not disappoint, playing out a 0-0 draw despite being down a man for over 65' minutes of the game. I'll echo what I said the first time for this game as well.

Both Mo Salah and Sadio Mane do to the AFCON tournament, as well as Keita. Replacing Salah and Mane’s combined 1.21 xG + xA from open play is not an easy task to do and Arsenal have been playing very well. The Gunners likely get a result against Man City two weeks ago if not for the red card in the 59’ minute when it was tied 1-1 before Man City scored at the death to win 2-1 which snapped a 4-game winning streak.

Additionally we have talked about the advantage for Arsenal this season, not having Champions or Europa duties, they could solely focus on Premier League which is definitely a reason they have climbed the table like they have up to now 4th. But that leaves this Cup as their only chance to actually grab some hardware and I expect the players to really put everything on the line here like the ALWAYS do when they play Liverpool in any sort of Cup competition. What’s amazing is that Arsenal have actually won or drawn each of the last, now TEN, domestic Cup matches between these teams which includes this EFL Cup, the FA Cup and the Community Shield.

This is too many points to be laying for the Wildcats. Take the points with the road dogs.

ANALYSIS: This is a perfect spot for the Golden Eagles. They are 5-0 ATS at home while averaging 90.8 PPG on 48 percent from the field and 44.3 percent from three. Now they get to face the Fighting Hawks who have one of the worst road defenses in the nation. They are 1-6 ATS in true road games while allowing 86.1 PPG on 53.4 percent shooting and 42.6 percent from three. While the spread is big, it should be. The Golden Eagles should be able to score at will and dominate this game.

The Lumberjacks are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games and 1-4 ATS at home. Kenpom ranks the Bobcats 174 spots ahead of the Lumberjacks. This spread should be closer to 12 points. Lay the points with the Bobcats.

ANALYSIS: The Antelopes defense should be the difference in this game. They have one of the best defenses in the country as they rank 16th in PPG allowed, 17th in field goal percentage allowed, and 1st in three point percentage allowed. The Lumberjacks defense is where they struggle. They have allowed at least 75 points in five of their last seven games. They are just 2-5 ATS in those seven games. The Antelopes are 4-1 ATS in their last five games covering by an average of 8.3 PPG. This spread is too small. Take the Antelopes in this matchup.

ANALYSIS: The Thundering Herd play the Golden Panthers in a Miami matchup tonight. Marshall has won nine straight meetings against FIU, but my model is predicting that tonight this streak should be in jeopardy. It's projecting this game as a pick'em, so taking the 2.5 points with the Golden Panthers is going to be the recommended play. The Panthers are 7-1 SU at home this year, and Marshall has only covered once in its ten games since late November. The Herd is also just 1-5 ATS on the road. FIU will want to defend home court and get a program win against a stumbling Marshall, take the extra points.

The Privateers are on a four-game winning streak and beat preseason Southland favorite Nicholls 78-66 on Saturday. Troy Green was named Southland Player of the Week and he's not even the best player on New Orleans, Derek St. Hilaire is. He's second in the Southland at 19.2 points per game. The Privateers lead the Southland and are 31st in the nation in three-point defense at 29.1 percent.

Various other models also have Rice winning by generally by 4-5 points. Owls guard Carl Pierre leads the team and is sixth in the conference with 15.3 points per game. He leads C-USA in three-pointers made per game (3.1) and is second in field goal percentage (49.2%) and three-point field goal percentage (43.8%). Rice is hitting 39.0% from three, which leads the league. Defensively, it allows teams to shoot 30.1% from deep, second in C-USA.

ANALYSIS: The model is making this one a six point victory for St Louis, giving us three points of value on this line against UMass. In the last few meetings between these squads, we have seen St Louis win four of the last five against their A10 rival, all of which by three or more points. UMass was looking strong at home to start the year but they've now suffered back to back losses this month at the Mullins Center to Duquesne by 4 and URI by 13. Both of those teams are ranked worse than Saint Louis and this spread is less than either game finished, grab the value on the Billikens.

Analysis:

Pinnacle——SMU The oddsmakers tend to overvalue Memphis when they play at home. The Tigers are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games. It seems to many that Memphis can spring to life and perform at a near-elite level on any occasion. The Tigers' 9-7 mark shows good wins, offensive explosions and plenty of positive attributes. However, despite the program's instructional talent, turnovers and inconsistent play have kept Memphis from satisfying preseason hype. Conversely, after winning 10-of-11 recently, Southern Methodist has become a consistency pillar among CBB's evolving landscape. I think the Mustangs, paced by pro-level PG Kendric Davis, are a bit much for the Tigers in all areas. Frankly, Memphis' 5-10-1 ATS record has also soured many; mainly from their reckless play and lack of discipline. However, on Memphis' floor, where the Tigers are more likely to control pace, I'll pick an offensively centered game over a point-stopping battle. The Tigers average 77.0 points per game. SMU adds 76.9 points per game. Each side shoots the three well & offers rim protection. SMU should get a few extra possessions as the better rebounding group & because Memphis leads the nation in turnovers. Pick SMU to notch another ATS win.
