The Anaheim Ducks enter this contest in a terrible rut, going 0-6-2 in their last eight games. The Ottawa Senators have to be a welcome sight to them, but not if they can’t score more goals. The Ducks are averaging just 2.4 goals per contest, not really allowing them to take advantage of the pathetic defense of Ottawa.
However, the Ducks have won five of the last six meetings between these two teams at home and the home team has won four straight in the series. Add to it the fact that Anaheim is 15-6 in the last 21 meetings and that should give hope for Ducks fans that they will see this skid come to an end.
