ANALYSIS: OUTBACK BOWL -- I originally thought Penn State would win this game but no longer do. While Arkansas did lose leading receiver Treylon Burks to an opt-out, the Nittany Lions have now lost maybe their three best defensive players in linebackers Ellis Brooks and Brandon Smith and safety Jaquan Brisker, who was a team captain, defensive MVP, All-American and a semifinalist for the Thorpe and Bednarik awards this year. PSU receiver Jahan Dotson, who had 91 receptions for 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, also has passed on the bowl. No reason to bother giving 1 point; we'll take the moneyline.

ANALYSIS: I think losing coach Brian Kelly to LSU doesn't bode well for Notre Dame in this game. The Fighting Irish will be without their top RB (Kyren Williams) and top safety (Kyle Hamilton) as well... The Cowboys played a tougher schedule and own the better defense... Oklahoma State's defensive line is ranked No. 3, while Notre Dame's is ranked No. 59... The Fighting Irish went 6-1 straight-up against other bowl teams, getting outgained in four of the seven games. The Cowboys went 7-2 straight-up against bowl teams, outgaining six of nine foes... Notre Dame has played in seven New Year's Six/BCS/CFP bowl games since 2000 and is 0-7 straight-up and ATS, with a 102-263 point differential. Take the underdog.

ANALYSIS: This line looks wrong. The Toledo Rockets are a much better team than the Golden Flashes. Kenpom ranks the Rockets as the 100th best team and the Golden Flashes as the 184th team. The Rockets are rolling. They are 7-2 SU and ATS over their last nine games. On the other side, the Golden Flashes are just 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games against a Division I opponent. The Rockets are a much better team with a much better offense. They should easily win this game.

ANALYSIS: Fading the Longhorns in this spot. This is only their third game where they are not double digit favorites. The Longhorns got beat up by Gonzaga and lost a close game to Seton Hall. I am a big fan of this Mountaineers team and coach Bob Huggins. They are 11-1 SU and they have covered each of their last four games. The Mountaineers have a dominant defense. Kenpom ranks them as the 25th best defense in the nation as they are only allowing 59.8 PPG. This game is going to be a slow paced defensive battle. The spread is too big. The Mountaineers are going to give the Longhorns trouble all game. Take the points with West Virginia.

ANALYSIS: Both of these teams have been playing low scoring games recently. The Under has cashed in each of the Friars last five games and in four of the Blue Demons last five games. The Friars have an elite defense as they are only allowing 61.8 PPG and just 55.5 PPG on the road. Even with the Blue Demons fast pace, they are only allowing 67.1 PPG. This game will be a defensive battle. The Friars play at a very slow pace that will help keep this game under the total.

ANALYSIS: The Eagles have been great ATS this season. They are 8-3 ATS including 7-2 ATS away from home. On the other side, the Lumberjacks are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight games. Fun random stat: the Lumberjacks are 1-7 ATS in their last eight Saturday home games. The Eagles defense is great at defending the three point line. A lot of the Lumberjacks production is from downtown. The Eagles also have a solid offense. They will be able to slow down the Lumberjacks offense while their offense thrives against the lackluster Lumberjacks defense.

ANALYSIS: In baseball we had the Colorado Rockies on the road, in college basketball we have Idaho State. It's rare to have such clear cut auto-fade teams, but Idaho State is that bad and this line has value. My model is making this a 15.5 point win for Montana State who should take care of the Bengals for an easy Big Sky win. I wouldn't go past 13 in case this line happens to move, but definitely take the value against a terrible Idaho State team that is 1-9 ATS this season.

ANALYSIS: Kent State is playing terribly and Toledo looks like they might be a force in the MAC this season. I am surprised that Toledo is getting a point here, I think they win this game. My model agrees and has this as a 3 point win for the Rockets over the Golden Flashes. Kent State has lost four of its last five games while shooting 37% from the field and just 24% from three in those last five. Toledo should get it done.
