BUFFALO @ NEW ENGLAND | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
NEW ENGLAND -2.5
ANALYSIS: Throw out the first meeting between these teams as the weather conditions didn't leave us much to take away. That being said, I believe the Patriots remain the far better team despite the loss to the Colts. New England fell way behind early due to a punt block and was unable to contend with the elite Colts rushing attack. The Pats won't have that problem here, with Buffalo being a pass first team. Though the Bills won and covered against Carolina, the offense still didn't look very impressive, while the defense should remain vulnerable to the Pats' rushing attack. I've been quick to fade the Bills each week, and I want to lock it in now in case it gets to 3.

PITTSBURGH @ KANSAS CITY | 12/26 | 4:25 PM EST
KANSAS CITY -9.5
ANALYSIS: In their last five games, the Steelers have been outscored 91-19 in the first half. Pittsburgh was extremely fortunate to beat Tennessee: the Steelers were plus-4 in turnover margin and averaged a measly 3.7 yards per play and 2.1 yards per carry. With the league's updated COVID protocols, Travis Kelce (among others) has a good chance to be activated for this game. The Chiefs also had extra time to prepare after playing on Thursday in Week 15. That always bodes well for Andy Reid. Look for KC to pick up its eighth straight win, this one by double digits.

DENVER @ LAS VEGAS | 12/26 | 4:25 PM EST
DENVER +1.5
ANALYSIS: The Broncos will be missing starting QB Teddy Bridgewater for this game, and the move to Drew Lock is definitely a downgrade. But we just saw Nick Mullens nearly beat the Raiders in a COVID-related spot start as Vegas continues its late-season slide. The Raiders defense isn't equipped to generate turnovers with just five interceptions on the year, and the defensive front has had trouble limiting quality rushing attacks. The Raiders offense has had one good game in its last seven tries. I expect the Broncos to ride a running-and-defense strategy to a win regardless of the quarterback under center.

CHICAGO @ SEATTLE | 12/26 | 4:05 PM EST
CHICAGO +6.5
ANALYSIS: Both these teams are coming off divisional losses where their offenses on the surface struggled to have any success. But Seattle seemed to revert to its early-season issues of giving up long drives to their opponents, then giving the ball back after a couple of plays from the offense. The Seahawks mustered just 214 yards in the loss, with the gains made by the offense in recent weeks absent. The Bears struggled with turnovers against the Vikings but nearly doubled their opponents in yardage and likely deserved a better outcome. I love catching this many points vs. a middling Seahawks team coming off a rescheduled Tuesday game.

L.A. RAMS @ MINNESOTA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
MINNESOTA +3
ANALYSIS: The Rams are rolling, and back-to-back wins against NFC West rivals have put them into a tie for the division lead. The Vikings also managed a win last week but the offense completely disappeared, posting just 61 net passing yards as the team was outgained 370-193 by the Bears. That type of profile would typically have me shy away from a winning team next week, but this is a terrible spot for the Rams, playing a road 1 p.m. ET game on Sunday after their rescheduled Tuesday win. This is at +3 (-120) now, so jump on it before it tips down to 2.5.

CHICAGO @ SEATTLE | 12/26 | 4:05 PM EST
SEATTLE -6.5
ANALYSIS: Don't let Seattle's Tuesday night game against the Rams fool you, it was a matchup nightmare with Tyler Lockett out. That said, barring any unforeseen circumstances Lockett should be back on the field and quite frankly he changes the entire complexion of the Seahawks offense. How much so? Russell Wilson has nearly a 7% increase in completion percentage with Lockett on the field alone. Thats...large. Not to mention Chicago's QB Justin Fields is dealing with an ankle injury and he'll be prime cut for Seattle's defense to attack. Seattle will need to run the football but lucky for them the Bears' defense has allowed 51 rushes of 10+ yards this season which is 5th worst in the NFL. Give me the Seahawks under 7 at home.

BALTIMORE @ CINCINNATI | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
CINCINNATI -3
ANALYSIS: Lamar Jackson (ankle) missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, and 12 players on the Ravens' 53-man roster are on the COVID list. The list includes key guys like pass rusher Justin Houston, corner Jimmy Smith, defensive end Justin Madubuike and wideout Sammy Watkins. The Ravens rank 31st against the pass. Joe Burrow excels against the blitz, as he showed in the first meeting -- a 41-17 Bengals' beatdown in Baltimore. This line is trending upward. I'm playing the Bengals -3 at -115.

L.A. RAMS @ MINNESOTA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
MINNESOTA +3.5
ANALYSIS: Minnesota is 20-6-1 ATS in its last 27 as a home dog, and I love getting over a field goal here. Alexander Mattison has proven to be a fine replacement for Dalvin Cook, and Adam Thielen (ankle) appears on track to play. His availability is crucial: It would mean Jalen Ramsey won't be able to focus solely on Justin Jefferson. Although the Rams got their starting right tackle back from the COVID list, they're still missing a few key guys and face a tough travel spot after playing Tuesday night. Grab the points.

PITTSBURGH @ KANSAS CITY | 12/26 | 4:25 PM EST
KANSAS CITY -7.5
ANALYSIS: The Chiefs have reportedly had no new COVID cases for a second straight day, so they may be done losing key pieces heading into this game, which means the line probably isn't getting any lower. But there's also a chance guys like Chris Jones, Travis Kelce or Tyreek Hill could be cleared before Sunday. As long as Patrick Mahomes is out there, I'm not worried about his weapons, particularly with the Steelers offense again looking awful last week. The Chiefs may be able to cover this number by just getting to 21 considering how well their defense has played. The Chiefs spent over a year struggling to cover games but are now on a 5-0 ATS run. Let's make it 6-0.

L.A. RAMS @ MINNESOTA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
MINNESOTA +3
ANALYSIS: Both teams will be playing with short rest, but the Rams are in the tougher spot. LA is 2-2 SU and 0-4 ATS after winning three straight since 2018. The Vikings, who have played 11 straight games decided by single digits, are the only team not to drop any game by more than eight points. The Vikings are third in sacks (44) and second in sacks allowed (22). Strong combo. Imagine you're the Rams having to play a night game then travel five days later for a 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. body clock) game in Week 16. Kirk Cousins does his best work (58.4% ATS) in this time slot. Take the home underdog plus the points.

L.A. CHARGERS @ HOUSTON | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
L.A. CHARGERS -10.5
ANALYSIS: I assure you, betting double-digit NFL favorites is not a position I enjoy being in. The Texans are terrible, and the Chargers offense is playing extremely well. Los Angeles already ranks third in the league in points per drive at 2.57, but over the last five games, that number is at 2.83. While I don't think the Chargers defense will allow it to blow the doors off anybody, I do think they can score enough to cover this spread against a Texans team with nothing to play for.

BUFFALO @ NEW ENGLAND | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
NEW ENGLAND -2.5
ANALYSIS: Beating Cam Newton and the Panthers last week has done nothing to assuage my concerns about the Bills. We already know the Bills can beat Cam Newton because their only two wins against New England in the last nine meetings came with Cam at QB for the Patriots. This is a series the Patriots have long dominated (they've won 36 of the 43 meetings since 2000), and I expect that run to continue.

WASHINGTON @ DALLAS | 12/26 | 8:20 PM EST
WASHINGTON +10
ANALYSIS: Dallas beat Washington two weeks ago, but that came with Washington missing major contributors on the defensive line. Those players are mostly back for a Washington team that will be more desperate for a win than a Cowboys team that already has clinched a playoff spot. Give me Washington to keep this game close.

ANALYSIS: I realize the Giants have lost three straight, and the Eagles have won four of their last five. But Philly's only loss in that stretch came to New York in Week 12. And these rivals usually play close contests. Ten of the last 14 games in the series have been one-score games. This matchup will be close. Give me New York.

TAMPA BAY @ CAROLINA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
CAROLINA +10
ANALYSIS: I’m not going to worry about the Panthers QB situation with Cam Newton starting and Sam Darnold getting some shots to throw the ball. I played the Panthers because of their No.2 defense at home facing a wounded Buccaneers pass offense. Antonio Brown is expected back, but Tampa Bay's two starting receivers are out. Panthers have lost four straight, and the Bucs lost 9-0 at home to the Saints last week. I took the Panthers and all the points.

DETROIT @ ATLANTA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
ATLANTA -6.5
ANALYSIS: The best quarterback in the league last week was none other than Jared Goff. And he's "highly unlikely" to play, per Dan Campbell. The dropoff to Tim Boyle is massive. Detroit also will be missing its top corner, Amani Oruwariye, among other key players. The Falcons are desperate for their first win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this year. Lay the points before this line rises higher.

L.A. RAMS @ MINNESOTA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
L.A. RAMS -3
ANALYSIS: With RB Dalvin Cook out and WR Adam Thielen questionable, the Vikings will be shy at least one of their offensive go-to guys. Much has been made of the Rams’ quick turnaround from a Tuesday game, but Minnesota also has a short week following a Monday nighter on the road. The Rams are hell-bent on reaching the Super Bowl in their building, and they are getting healthy after a rough week with COVID-19. I love L.A.

DETROIT @ ATLANTA | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
ATLANTA -6.5
ANALYSIS: Just as Detroit is on the verge of welcoming back useful RB D’Andre Swift from an injury layoff, it appears QB Jared Goff won’t be handing off to him. With Goff ill, Tim Boyle likely steps in, and much improvement is essential from his previous start — a 13-10 loss in which he threw for a mere 77 yards and was picked off twice. Atlanta has forged a 6-8 record by beating lower-level teams, and the Lions qualify. Detroit's 22 sacks rank 31st, so immobile QB Matt Ryan should have oodles of time in the pocket.

BALTIMORE @ CINCINNATI | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
CINCINNATI -4.5
ANALYSIS: This line is about to climb as Lamar Jackson (ankle) looks doubtful and Tyler Huntley is now headed to the COVID-19 list. That means Josh Johnson will start for a Ravens team that has already been struck hard with illness. The Bengals, meanwhile, will be at full capacity with Joe Mixon not missing practice as he was expected to this week. I was prepared to take the Ravens to cover with Huntley behind center, but now the Bengals are the play at anything less than a touchdown in a home spot in a must-win game during a tight playoff race.

BUFFALO @ NEW ENGLAND | 12/26 | 1:00 PM EST
BUFFALO +2
ANALYSIS: The Bills have lost three of their last five games, including a 14-10 loss at home to the Patriots four weeks ago. New England comes off a loss that followed a bye that slowed the momentum of a seven-game win and cover streak. The Bills have two key receivers out, but Stefon Diggs and Emmanuel Sanders are playing. My main angle here is revenge, led by Josh Allen and a No. 1-rated defense. The Bills are 4-1-2 ATS in their last seven meetings at New England, and the Under is 5-2. I took the points with Buffalo.
