ANALYSIS: I saw the original Iowa-Nebraska spread on Sunday night and couldn't believe the Hawkeyes were 3.5-point dogs. Unfortunately, I didn't jump then because now Iowa is -1.5 as Huskers QB Adrian Martinez, a four-year starter, has been ruled out with an injury. Redshirt freshman Logan Smothers gets the start. Nebraska has nothing to play for other than pride, while Iowa can still win the Big Ten West Division with a victory and help from Minnesota. I may come back on the Under here too.

ANALYSIS: Breakfast in the Mountain West! A 9 a.m. Pacific time kickoff. This line is really strange. San Diego State has the better record and is ranked and has the motivation of playing for a spot in the Mountain West title game. To be fair, Boise State also is playing for spot in that game (opposite division) and SDSU doesn't have a great home-field advantage because it's playing in Carson, Calif. -- Aztec Stadium in San Diego is scheduled to open in time for the 2022 season. Boise State might win but it highly unlikely will be by more than 3 points and San Diego State absolutely could win. SDSU is 4-1 ATS in its past five as an underdog.

ANALYSIS: No, this spread is not a typo. Three-win Nebraska, the co-cellar dweller of the Big Ten West, is favored over nine-win Iowa, the co-leader seeking a division title. There is plenty of evidence to support the underdog, as Iowa has won the last six overall meetings and four straight on the road.

ANALYSIS: With Cincy’s inclusion in the tentative CFB playoff field, this line has inched up as bettors believe the Bearcats will stomp on the accelerator. It will be challenging to pull away from East Carolina. Of the Pirates’ four defeats, one occurred in overtime, one on a field goal at the buzzer and a third on a touchdown with 26 seconds remaining. Their ATS record: 7-3-1. Their track record in big home games is impressive: wins over N.C. State in 2016, over North Carolina in ’18 and a strong SMU team last year.

ANALYSIS: The Panthers are 11-0 at home and 3-5 on the road. Florida defeated the Capitals on Nov. 4 in overtime despite getting outshot 42-33. The Panthers have won four in a row after losing four in a row. Florida has been outshot in two of its past three victories. That's a red flag. Washington is 14-6 on the puck line, which means it is exceeding expectations. Florida has a home game against Seattle on Saturday. I like the Capitals in this revenge spot.
