There's not a lot to like about either of these downtrodden programs. but morale, home-field advantage and a handful of points favor the Razorbacks, whose spirits are a little higher following a reasonably respectable performance against top-ranked LSU following the dismissal of coach Chad Morris. The Tigers are still wondering what went wrong during a five-game skid in which they have scored 47 total points. They could get bowl-eligible with a win Friday but it won't come easy.

Power Sports' *10* NCAAF GAME OF THE YEAR ~ NOON ET FRIDAY!

10* Virginia (12:00 ET): While much of the College Football world will be focusing in on the big Ohio State-Michigan game this weekend and whether or not the underdog can reverse an ugly series history in that particular rivalry, the same narrative also rings true here in the Commonwealth Cup. In fact, things have been even more one-sided here, if you can believe it. Virginia has lost to Va Tech a record 15 consecutive times with many of the recent battles being close. Last year's defeat was among the most painful as UVA blew a 4Q lead and fell in OT. Virginia came into this season w/ its eye on winning the ACC's Coastal Division. That goal will be accomplished if they can finally beat the Hokies. Despite the dreadful series history, there is some good news here for the Cavaliers. The game is in Charlottesville where they are a perfect 6-0 SU this season, winning by an average of 20 points per game. Their offensive output jumps up to 41.2 PPG here at Scott Stadium, which is well above what the average is on the road. The Hoos have been the most consistent Coastal team in 2019 and this is the first time they have been a home dog all season. The bad news is Virginia Tech comes in hot. The Hokies share the same records as UVA as both are 8-3 overall and 5-2 in conference. But the path Va Tech to get here is a little different. They've caught fire in the second half of the season, winning six of seven (only loss was by 1 pt @ Notre Dame) after suffering what was a humiliating 45-10 defeat to Duke in a Friday night home game. The Hokies are also on a 6-0 ATS run after starting 0-4 ATS. Because they're hot and have had Virginia's number, this number has already changed significantly from the time it opened. I keep coming back to "if not now, when?" for Virginia. My projections say they should be a 5-pt favorite here. I'll trust those numbers and the fact Va Tech has failed to cover 5 of its last 6 games w/ a line of 3 pts or less. 10* Virginia

Analysis:
The Power Ratings greatly favor Memphis here, AND the game means MUCH more to Memphis than Cincy AS WELL!!

Ve½gas is NOT pricing properly Cincy's lack of motivation in this game!

I;m seeing a one-score game between these Big 12 rivals Saturday. The underachieving Longhorns have struggled to create separation against inferior opponents, and the Red Raiders have enough firepower on offense to keep pace. My projections see a one-score game and have the Red Raiders covering nearly 65 percent of the time. Take the points.

I have been riding the Tom Herman Texas Unders train for a while and I'm not getting off this week. In Texas' Big 12 games under Tom Herman the Under is a lovely 18-9. Also, while the Under is 4-5-2 in Texas Tech games, only three of Tech's games have gone over this total this season. Finally, the Under has hit in five of the last seven meetings.

It is going to be a miserable, wet, cold and windy day in Lincoln on Friday. I don't expect either offense to warm anything up, either. Nebraska's run defense has been a problem, but Iowa can't run the ball. Nor will the Iowa defense allow Nebraska to do much of anything.

In the College Football Playoff Era (since 2014) it has been profitable to fade the Frogs at home. They've gone 16-21 ATS at home, and 13-18 ATS as a home favorite. This spread is a little too large in this matchup against a West Virginia team that isn't good, but has improved as the season has gone along.

Virginia Tech turned their season around better than just about any team in the country. Once this team stepped away from Ryan Willis they have really flourished on offense. The problem I see today is they may just be a little overvalued as Hendon Hooker doesn’t have many road games under his belt. Virginia’s Defense is familiar with a mobile QB every single day in practice with Bryce Perkins. This game is for all the marbles on who will play Clemson in the title game. Virginia is a team has not beaten Tech in over a decade. Every single player on the Cavs team is hungry for a win against their rival. Both teams have great defensive lines and are good for a lot of sacks. This is going to be a great battle. I believe Virginia has the advantage today with their senior quarterback playing at home. Never underestimate Head Coach Bronco Mendenhall. Take Virginia

332 Memphis -12.5(-108) Pinnacle vs 331 Cincinnati single-dime bet

Analysis: Cincinnati is already locked into the AAC Championship game but if they win here, they likely host Navy next week. Meanwhile if Memphis wins this game, they host Cincinnati again next week. We think Cincinnati is one of the most overrated teams in the country. They have been out-gained in 6 of their last 7 games, but yet have won all 7! They were -151 yards vs East Carolina, -160 yards vs USF (USF missed 4 FG’s!) and -100 yards vs Temple last week (blocked PAT return TD the difference). Cincinnati is 4-0 in games decided by 3 points or less! This could easily be a 3 or 4-loss team.

328 Nebraska 5.0(-110) William Hill vs 327 Iowa single-dime bet

Analysis: Nebraska needs a win to get to bowl eligibility which would be huge for Scott Frost in his 2nd year. The Huskers are off their best performance of the season, a blowout win at Maryland and the game before vs Wisconsin, they had a misleading loss (493-482 yard edge). That premium you were paying on an over-hyped Nebraska team all season is now gone after starting 1-9 ATS. Meanwhile, Iowa is “leaking oil” as they were -178 yards vs Wisconsin (only lost by 2), -141 yards vs Minnesota (won by 4) and last week were +2 in TO’s vs Illinois but still couldn’t cover.

TEMPLE -4
TEMPLE VS TEXAS A&M | 11/29 | 2:00 PM EST
12:18 PM
Temple is a really good team and took Maryland to the wire despite a horrible game shooting from its leading scorer. The Owls are deep and plenty talented enough to put a hurting on Texas A&M, which does not have nearly the depth or talent of Temple. The Aggies have dropped six straight games ATS. Take Temple.

23-13-2 IN LAST 38 CBB PICKS | +852
MICHIGAN +4.5
MICHIGAN VS GONZAGA | 11/29 | 2:00 PM EST
12:14 PM
Michigan is the better team, and this is a game the Wolverines can win outright. They have a lot of depth and plenty of experience. Meanwhile Gonzaga was lucky to get by Oregon last night. Michigan is better defensively than the Ducks, and the Wolverines can shoot better from beyond the arc. Take Michigan.

23-13-2 IN LAST 38 CBB PICKS | +852
PITTSBURGH -123
PITTSBURGH @ COLUMBUS | 11/29 | 7:00 PM EST
12:12 PM
This has been a one-sided series dominated by the Penguins, who have won nine of the last 10 meetings and the last one 7-2. The Penguins are banged up and missing Sidney Crosby (groin), but haven't really skipped a beat, having won three straight and registered a point in six straight. Matt Murray continues to play well in net.

6-3 IN LAST 9 NHL ML PICKS | +239
MIAMI -11.5
GOLDEN ST. @ MIAMI | 11/29 | 8:00 PM EST
12:10 PM
The Heat have been dominating at home, posting a 7-0 record both straight up and ATS, outscoring their opponents by 18 per game. The Heat are allowing just 100 points per game overall at home. The Warriors are just 2-8 on the road this year and getting outscored by almost 12 per game and still too banged up to be competitive on a nightly basis.

MORGAN ST. @ OHIO ST. | 11/29 | 9:00 PM EST
12:09 PM
This game is a mismatch, and the score will reflect that in the end. The Buckeyes are a really good team and solid defensively, allowing just 52.0 points a game and outscoring opponents by 24.3 points per game. The Buckeyes are shooting 48.8 percent from the field while holding their opponents to 32.2 percent from the field and 28.9 percent from long range. Morgan State has lost three straight, and one of those losses was to Liberty, 89-48. Look for a similar score here. Take the Buckeyes.

L.A. CLIPPERS -6
L.A. CLIPPERS @ SAN ANTONIO | 11/29 | 8:30 PM EST
12:08 PM
The Spurs are struggling right now to say the least, having dropped five straight at home and eight straight in this series. This is a big game for Kawaii Leonard, who returns to San Antonio. The Spurs are just 1-9 ATS at home this year and really struggling defensively ,allowing 115 points per game overall. The Spurs are 0-6 ATS their last six games vs the West.

8-4 IN LAST 12 NBA ATS PICKS | +363
CINCINNATI +12.5
CINCINNATI @ MEMPHIS | 11/29 | 3:30 PM EST
11:42 AM
This is a lot of points to be giving a very dangerous Bearcats team that has won nine straight games since a Week 2 loss at Ohio State. The winner of this game will host the AAC Championship game. The Bearcats are already in the Championship game, so I do expect Memphis to win but much closer than this number suggests. The Bearcats are allowing 19.9 points per game on the season (23rd in the nation) and have 23 takeaways (seventh). Weather could be a factor, and Memphis was 0-3 last year in the rain. Take Cincy.
