Kansas City @ L.A. Chargers | 11/18 | 8:15 PM EST

Philip Rivers is such a statue, and he'll get blitzed a lot by K.C. Andy Reid is encouraged that he might get two offensive linemen back. Patrick Mahomes is disappointed because he had to settle for field goals last week. Look for a huge performance as the Chiefs cover.

Kansas City -3.5
Kansas City @ L.A. Chargers | 11/18 | 8:15 PM EST

The Chargers are allowing opposing QBs to complete 71 percent of their throws. While the Chiefs' offensive line is getting healthier, it appears L.A. will be missing three starters up front. The Chargers' O-line issues were evident in Week 10 when Oakland sacked Philip Rivers five times and intercepted him three times. Andy Reid is 23-2 straight-up in his last 25 games versus division foes. Back K.C. to bounce back from its fluky loss in Tennessee.

Kansas City @ L.A. Chargers | 11/18 | 8:15 PM EST

With QB Patrick Mahomes back, Kansas City’s total points average crept back into the 50s. That’s too high for this matchup in Mexico against the league’s fifth-ranked pass defense. Los Angeles allows south of 20 points per game and has landed Under seven times in its last nine contests. Chargers QB Philip Rivers has been erratic and his receivers get little separation, so the team could hew to the ground game.

Play Los Angeles Chargers +3.5 over Kansas City (NFL Football)

Los Angeles has covered the spread in 76 of the last 131 games after covering the spread in two of the last three games and they have covered the spread in 62 of the last 110 games when playing as an underdog of 3.5 to 9.5 points.

KANSAS CITY -4.5
KANSAS CITY @ L.A. CHARGERS | 11/18 | 8:15 PM EST
It now looks like the Chargers will be down two tackles in this matchup with Russell Okung downgraded to doubtful on Sunday. On the flip side, the Chiefs will have both their starting tackles on the field for the first time in weeks. That should open up the Chiefs offense by giving Patrick Mahomes more time to throw, while it'll be tougher for the Chargers to stay close if the Chiefs pass rush can pin its ears back in the second half. This is a critical game for Kansas City after an uneven run in recent weeks has turned the AFC West into a battle heading into the stretch.

The Capitals lead the NHL in wins, points and goals. Goalie Braden Holtby is 9-0-1 in his last 10 starts, while Ducks goalie John Gibson is just 1-2-2 with a 3.44 GAA in his career versus Washington. The Caps have lost three straight meetings, so expect them to be more than ready for this matchup. Play Washington on the puck line at +111.

My model says the Celtics cover the spread 67 percent of the time, so you're getting strong value playing Boston at this point spread. The Celtics had their 10-game winning streak halted Sunday in Sacramento but are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 on the road against teams with winning records. The underdog has covered in each of the last seven meetings between the Celtics and Suns. Take Boston and the points.

My model says that the Bucks cover the spread 68 percent of the time, so you're getting strong value playing Milwaukee at this point spread. The Bucks have won seven of eight after splitting their first four games this season. Milwaukee is riding a seven-game winning streak against Chicago that includes a nine-point triumph at home on Thursday. The team also is perfect ATS in its last six trips to the Windy City.

It wasn't until the start of this season that Illinois proved to have such a scoring presence. This amount is a bit high, considering Hawaii has had an average total of 130.83 in its last six games as at least a five-point underdog. With this sample size, there is no reason to think this total isn’t well over what it typically should be. I see the total being in the 130s on Monday night.

SMU +2.5
SMU @ EVANSVILLE | 11/18 | 7:00 PM EST

A classic overreaction line still carrying over from the Kentucky win for Evansville. SMU would have been the favorite had this game been the season opener for both. The Mustangs have failed to cover in each of their first three contests and are getting a great price on Monday night. SMU consistently has a tougher strength of schedule and shouldn’t be fazed by Evansville's fluke win over Kentucky last week.

Utah State is going to be in the NCAA Tournament and the Aggies have a great roster. They’ve won all four games this season (2-2 ATS), but I think they’ll be pressed to cover the big number tonight against Texas-San Antonio, which has failed to win or cover a game this season. The backcourt duo of Jhivan Jackson and Keaton Wallace both averaged 20 ppg last season and return. It’s in their guard play that I trust to get the cover Monday.

The Bulls fought the Bucks to the wire in their meeting last Thursday, getting within three in the final 2 minutes before Milwaukee pulled away and won by nine. Milwaukee appears to have matchup issues with Zach LaVine and rookie Coby White, both of whom had monster games. Six Bulls also scored in double figures. The road-strong Bucks have won six of their last seven away from home. They might do so again Monday, but Chicago should have an improved effort coming off its loss to Brooklyn.

The Bucks haven’t been slowed down by Khris Middleton’s thigh injury. He missed both of their last two games - a nine-point win over Chicago and a 19-point victory against Indiana. The Bulls have been an embarrassment of late as their most recent loss was Saturday's six-point setback against Brooklyn, which was without Kyrie Irving (shoulder) and Caris LeVert (thumb). This is a big line, but I think the Bucks win going away, so I’ll take them to cover.
