There are a few reasons why I think this Over shouldn’t be an issue. Let’s start with the fact that although Gerrit Cole has been virtually un-hittable of late, he has shown some weaknesses versus the Yankees. In his two career starts he has given three runs up each outing. Both of those games ended in a total over eight. I also think that the Astros are going be the main threat to produce runs in this outing. The Yankees go to their youngster Luis Severino, who is starting his fifth game of the entire year. Although he has looked sharp, Severino hasn’t pitched more than five innings of one of these outings so far. The Astros team total is the tastiest bet in my opinion, but I do think getting Over this 7.5 mark shouldn’t be a problem.
