NCAA-B | South Carolina vs Vanderbilt
Play on: Vanderbilt -3½ -110 at sportsbook

Vanderbilt has lost three straight and S.Carolina has won 4 straight . The home team is desperate and need a win here, and will be primed to perform against a hoops program that they have beaten on this floor in their last two matchups by 9 and 11 points respectively. I know 5 star recruit Darius Garland who is injured meant alot to this team, but for at least tonight I expect the Commodores to put that behind them and get their first conference win and cover of the season.

CAROLINA is 6-15 ATS versus good shooting teams - making 45% or more of their shots over the last 2 seasons.S CAROLINA is 1-9 ATS after scoring 75 points or more 2 straight games over the last 3 seasons.

CBB Road underdogs of +145 to +350 vs. the money line (S CAROLINA) - after 3 or more consecutive overs, an good offensive team (74-78 PPG) against an average defensive team (67-74 PPG) after 15+ games are 4-58 SU L/5 seasons for a go against 94% conversion rate.

Play on Vanderbilt to cover

NCAA-B | George Mason vs Massachusetts
Play on: OVER 146 -109

George Mason is finally playing some fantastic basketball winning seven of their last 10 contests including three on the road. In each of their victories they cracked the 80 point mark as they've gotten better on offense. The team added Jordan Miller who played last time out for the first time and he scored 14 points in 23 minutes. He pairs nicely with Justin Kier and Otis Livingston II. When they get Jaire Grayer back, they'll be even better. The Patriots have been better defensively as of late holding seven straight opponents to less then 70 points after five straight teams did so. UMass has lost four straight including a head-scratcher as an eight point favorite at home against La Salle. This team wants to get up and down the court with the likes of Pipkins and Holloway as well as Carl Pierre. They play at a slightly faster pace then the Patriots. The problem has been on defense allowing 80 or more four times this season. I really don't have faith in either defense in this one and think that it will go over the total.

NBA | Pelicans vs Warriors
Play on: Pelicans +6½ -115 at BMaker

Ben Burns is going for 10 straight NBA winners today. Here, he shares his opinion on tonight's ESPN matchup, the Warriors hosting the Pelicans.

While I don't regularly make a habit of playing against the champs on their home floor, this one sets up well for the visitors. While the Pelicans had yesterday off, the Warriors played in the high altitude of Denver. In addition to the back-to-back spot, they're now playing their third game in the past four days.

The last time that the Warriors played the second of b2b games? That came on 12/23. Off a win against the Mavs the night before, laying -11 points, the Warriors won by just two. The previous time that they played the second of b2b games, the Warriors were laying -6.5 points and won by only one. The time before that? The Warriors lost outright, by 12. Before that? A 7-point win against the Hawks when they were laying -11.5. You get the idea I'm trying to communicate. Recently, the Warriors have been far from dominant, when playing the second of b2b games.

As for the Pelicans, nobody has beaten them by more than eight points in a month now, a span of 13 games. In fact, no team has beaten the Pelicans by more than five points since before Christmas. They've won six of nine, all three losses coming by five or less. Consider grabbing the points.

Comp play for Wednesday night is Wichita State to stop the bleeding in their home game against Central Florida.

The Wheat Shockers come into this home game having dropped 4 in a row both straight up and against the spread, while the Knights are winners of their last 8 game to improve to 13-2 on the season.

It is clear this is not one of Gregg Marshall's better Wichita State editions, but there is still talent on this year's team, as senior Markis McDuffie is fresh off a 22-point performance, and is second in the conference in scoring with an over 19 points per game average. The Shockers also have another pretty solid senior in Samajae Haynes-Jones who averages over 13 points per game for the year.

Joihnny Dawkins has a UCF team that is capable of making some noise in the month of March, and on paper they should handle their business tonight, but they don't play them on paper, and Koch Arena still holds value for Wichita State even in this "off" season.

Last year, Wichita State won both series meetings, including an 81-62 blowout on their home court over UCF.

This is just the second road game for the Knights since December 2nd, and thus far they stand at 0-2 against the spread thus far in true road games.

Upset alert possible tonight in Wheat Shocker land.

Take Wichita State plus the points.

1* WICHITA STATE

Wednesday's comp play winner is the Bucks minus the points as they visit Bluff City for a date with the Grizzlies.

Yes, Milwaukee just played last night, but they weren't really extended, as the Bucks drilled the Heat 124-86 as they picked up their second straight win and cover, and also improved to 4-1 both straight up and against the spread their last 5.

Memphis is headed in the opposite direction, as the Grizzlies hit the court here on Wednesday with just one win both straight up and against the spread in their last 9 games!

This will be a payback game for the Bucks who lost a November 3-point decision on their home floor to the Grizzlies that snapped a Milwaukee 2 game win and cover streak.

The Bucks own a NBA best 22 wins by double-digits after last night's rout of the Heat, so do not worry about laying the wood on the road this evening, especially when you consider that Milwaukee is on a 5-2-1 spread uptick their last 8 games played away from Fieserv Forum.

Memphis meanwhile is just 1-6 against the spread their last 7 games played at home. Memphis has also failed in 4 of their last 5 when playing teams with a winning record.

Those trends continue here on Wednesday.

Take the Bucks as the road favorite over the Grizzlies.

3* MILWAUKEE

Comp play for Wednesday night will be the Jazz and the Clippers to combine to land Over the total at the Staples Center.

This one comes down to the fact the Clippers simply do not want to play defense these days. Over their last 19 times on court, they have allowed triple-digits 18 time. In fact, they have allowed 107 points or better in 18 of those 19 games!

The oddsmakers are aware of this, as they have posted some pretty tall numbers on LA's games, and thus the Over is just 1-6 in their last 7 games.

The Under for Utah has also been the play of late, as Utah plays this one on a 1-4 Under run, BUT, BUT, BUT, Utah is 2-1-1 the last 4 times the Jazz have played away from home.

Not only that, but the last 3 times Utah and the Clippers have jumped ball, Utah has posted an average of over 122 points per game, as each of those last 3 series meetings have found their way into the Over column.

The Over is 4-1 the past 5 series meetings, and 6 of the last 9 games played between these Western Conference rivals have also landed Over the posted price.

Forget both teams recent Under trends, offenses will be cranking tonight.

Jazz-Clippers Over.

3* UTAH-L.A. CLIPPERS OVER

1* Free NCAAB Pick on St. John's Red Storm -

I like the value here with the Red Storm as a small home favorite. St. John's is coming off an ugly home loss to DePaul and it's looking likely they will once again be without star guard Shamorie Ponds (questionable). All of that is playing into this favorable line.

Regardless if Ponds plays, I expect a max effort here from the Red Storm, as this is one they just can't let get away. I don't think they will have any problem. Creighton isn't very good this year. The Blue Jays are just 10-7 and have started out 1-3 in the Big East. Creighton is just 1-3 in true road games with all 3 losses coming by double-digits.

Blue Jays are 4-13 ATS last 17 games when listed as an underdog and 2-10 ATS last 12 as a road dog. Red Storm are 12-3 ATS last 15 home games after playing their previous game at home. Take St. John's!

Jack’s Free Pick Wednesday: Penn State -1

Penn State needs a win here. The Nittany Lions have opened 0-6 in Big Ten play against a brutal schedule with losses to Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Maryland and Indiana. They should be able to get their first conference win against an Iowa team that is terrible on the road.

Indeed, the Hawkeyes only have five wins in true road games since the start of the 2016 seasons. Iowa has gone just 2-12 SU in true road games over the last two seasons. In fact, the Hawkeyes had a stretch of 11 straight Big Ten road games in which they trailed by 17 or more points come to an end at Northwestern in their last road game. Northwestern is not very good.

Iowa is 2-11 ATS in all road games over the past two seasons. Penn State is 9-1 ATS off two straight games with 12 or fewer assists over the last two seasons. The Hawkeyes are 10-25-1 ATS in their last 36 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The home team is 4-0-1 ATS in the last five meetings. The Nittany Lions are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home meetings with Iowa. Bet Penn State Wednesday.

5-Star wager (5,7 and 10-Star scale) on Penn State (802) favored by 1.5-points hosting Iowa with the tip at 7:00 PM EST at the Bryce Jordan Center.

2. Data Base Situational Queries

Our vast NCAAM, NFL, NCAAB, NBA, NHL, and MLB databases empower us to provide our clients with an endless query pipeline using all the predictive technologies we have in our toolshed and the ones now in development. Iowa is porjectwd to have between 13 and 17 turnovers while PSU is projected to have less than 12 turnovers. In road games installed as a dog Iowa is 5-19 losing by an average of 13.4 points when these metrics have been met or exceeded. In the same scenario, PSU is 35-10 for 78% and winning by an average of 8 points.

PSU is a near-perfect 9-1 ATS (+7.9 Units) after 2 straight games with 12 or less assists over the last 2 seasons.

COLLEGE HOOPS 75 DIME GAME

AUBURN -6.5

As miraculous as Starks’ buzzer-beating shot was against Alabama, it was a game that Alabama was clearly in control of until later down the stretch. The Aggies were coming off three consecutive losses, including one bad loss to Texas Southern, for a reason. They aren’t shooting the ball well, and they have shown their fair share of struggles on the defensive end of the floor.

Auburn will enter Wednesday’s game with the 14th-ranked scoring offense in the country and the 26th-ranked team in defensive efficiency. There won’t be any miracles in this game as the Tigers impose their will on the Aggies. The only difference this time is they’ll be able to finish the job down the stretch.

Harper’s ability to spread the ball around will lead to another offensive scoring feast from Brown and company.

Auburn by 12 points or more.

Take Over the Total in the game between the Toronto Raptors and the Boston Celtics. Toronto (33-12) has won five games in a row with their 140-138 win in double-overtime on Sunday. The Raptors have played 5 of their last 6 games Over the Total after a straight-up win. Toronto has also played 4 straight road games Over the Total against teams with a winning percentage over 60% on their home court. Boston (25-18) comes off a 109-102 upset loss in Brooklyn on Monday as a 2-point favorite. The Celtics have then played 14 of their last 19 games Over the Total after allowing at least 100 points in their last game. Boston has also played 5 straight home games Over the Total against teams with a winning percentage over 60% on the road. Take the Over. Best of luck — Frank.

34-23 L57 NBA SIDES ~ +$19,000 TOP PLAY RUN

The Milwaukee Bucks have averaged 128.5 ppg in back-to-back triumphs, the most recent a 124-86 win over Miami last night. I think they look good to record a third straight blowout win when visiting Memphis despite playing on no rest.

Bucks are 19-9-1 ATS in their last 29 games playing on no rest, and the Grizzlies have been absolutely atrocious lately. Not only have they lost eight of their last nine games, but also failed to cover the spread in each and every defeat during that stretch.

Memphis has been held to 100 points or fewer in all but one of its last seven contests and I just don't see the Grizzlies keeping up with a Bucks side that has recorded a NBA-leading 22 double digit victories on the season.

Grizzlies are 6-20 ATS in their last 26 games overall. Bucks are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

Free pick on Milwaukee Bucks.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Dallas Mavericks +1

The Dallas Mavericks are 16-5 SU & 15-6 ATS at home this season. When you consider the Spurs are just 7-14 SU in road games this season, it’s easy to see why I’m on the Mavericks tonight. Dallas is also 8-1 ATS in its last nine meetings with San Antonio. The home team has won each of the last four meetings. The underdog is 22-4 ATS in the last 26 meetings. Dallas is 9-0 ATS at home with a line of +3 to -3 this season. Give me the Mavericks.

Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs look to defeat Dallas for the 13th time in the past 15 meetings when they visit the Mavericks on Wednesday. San Antonio was on a roll with 14 victories in 18 games before suffering back-to-back double-digit setbacks to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Charlotte Hornets.

The Spurs dropped a 108-93 decision to the visiting Hornets on Monday when they had no answers on how to defend Kemba Walker, who made seven 3-pointers while scoring 33 points.

The Mavericks are coming off a 119-114 home loss to the Golden State Warriors that represents their 14th loss in the past 19 games.

SG DeMar DeRozan had 34 points and nine assists as the Spurs notched a 113-108 home overtime win against the Mavericks on Oct. 29.

Spurs are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss. Road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings.

10* FREE NCAAB PICK (Texas Tech -5.5)

I'll take my chances here with the Red Raiders winning by at least 6 points at home against the Cyclones. Even though Iowa State comes in off back-to-back losses, including an upset home loss to K-State last time out, I still think this team is getting some love from the books due that that 17-point beating they laid on Kansas earlier this month.

I just don't think it's asking much for Texas Tech to win here by more than the number. The Raiders are a perfect 10-0 at home this season and 43-4 at home under head coach Chris Beard. Iowa State is a very offensive minded team and it's why they often struggle on the road. Texas Tech has one of the best defenses in the country. Red Raiders are giving up 49.2 ppg and 30.5% shooting at home.

Cyclones are 3-11 ATS in their last 14 road games after playing their previous game at home, 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games vs a team that's won more than 60% of their home games and 0-6 ATS last 6 on the road after losing 2 of 3. Give me Texas Tech -5.5!
