Atlanta (18-18 SU, 19-17 ATS) at Toronto (21-18 SU, 21-17-1 ATS)

The Hawks make a stop north of the border today to face Toronto as they continue a stretch in which they play seven of eight games on the highway.

Atlanta opened its road swing in Milwaukee with Wednesday’s 87-80 loss to the Bucks as 3½-point underdogs, ending a modest two-game SU and ATS winning streak. The Hawks are just 5-10 SU (7-8 ATS) on the highway, including four consecutive losses (1-3 ATS), and they haven’t topped 100 points in any road game this year.

The Raptors are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five overall, including a 116-91 home win over Sacramento on Wednesday, easily covering as a 5½-point chalk. Toronto is on a 3-0 SU and ATS roll in front of the home fans and is 9-4 ATS in its last 13 played north of the border.

Toronto has taken the last three in this series both SU and ATS, including a 100-88 win in Atlanta back on Dec. 11, covering as three-point road favorites. The Raptors are 7-3 SU (6-4 ATS) in their last 10 head-to-head meetings with the Hawks. Also, the visitor has been dominant lately, going 9-3 ATS in the last 12, while the favorite has cashed in the last four in a row.

The straight-up winner is 9-0 ATS In the last nine series clashes. The winner is also 33-3 ATS in Hawks games this year (7-0 ATS in the last seven) and 35-3-1 ATS in Toronto games (13-0 ATS in the last 13).

The reason for Atlanta’s road woes: It manages just 87.9 points a game and shoots 41.7 percent from the floor on foreign turf, while allowing 92.7 points per game (45.3 percent shooting).

The Raptors have been strong on Fridays, going 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11. Conversely, the Hawks are 1-6 ATS in their last seven on Friday.

Toronto is on ATS streaks of 4-0 as a favorite, 7-1 as a home chalk and 35-16-2 against the Southeast Division.

The under is 16-5 in Atlanta’s last 21 on the road and 14-6 in its last 20 as a ‘dog. However, the over is 17-4 in the last 21 series matchups, including 7-0 in Toronto, and 6-2 in the Raptors last eight overall (3-0 in the last three).

ATS ADVANTAGE: TORONTO and OVER

Golden State (23-17 SU, 18-22 ATS) at Chicago (15-22 SU, 13-24 ATS)

The high-flying Warriors continue their four-game road trip in Chicago where they meet a Bulls’ squad that hasn’t lived up to preseason expectations.

Golden State has split the first two games on its journey, winning 105-98 in Minnesota on Tuesday, narrowly missing as 7½-point favorites, then losing 125-117 in Indiana on Wednesday, failing as two-point underdogs. The Warriors have won three of four overall, topping the century mark in all four. However, they’ve failed to cover the spread in three straight games and are 2-6 ATS in their last eight.

Chicago returns to the United Center after a four-game road swing that saw the Bulls go 2-2 SU and ATS. The trip concluded with Wednesday’s 126-96 win in Miami as 3½-point underdogs after getting blown out in their two previous games, 102-88 in Orlando as a 6½-point ‘dog and 105-84 in Atlanta on Sunday as a four-point pup.

The home team is 11-0 SU (10-1 ATS) in the last 11 series matchups, and the favorite is 6-2 ATS in the last eight.

For the season, Golden State is just 10-12 ATS on the road. And although it has won six of its last nine on the highway, it is 0-4 ATS in the last four. Home or away, the Warriors are involved in a lot of high-scoring affairs. They average 108.5 ppg overall (105.2 ppg on the road) and give up 107.2 ppg overall (106.2 ppg as a visitor).

At home, the Bulls are mired in slumps of 2-5 SU and 1-7 ATS. They put up 97.2 ppg at the United Center, but yield 99.4.

Chicago is 6-21 ATS in its last 27 against Pacific Division foes.

The under is 7-3 in the last 10 head-to-head meetings (4-0 in the last four in Chicago) and 13-6-1 in the Warriors’ last 20 road games. Meanwhile, the over is 7-2 in the Bulls’ last nine overall, 5-1 in its last six at home and 7-2 in Golden State’s last nine Friday night tip-offs.
