ANALYSIS: Javon Freeman-Liberty dealt with a groin injury earlier this season but is fully healthy now. He has scored 22 or more points in five straight games, a stretch in which the Blue Demons have gone 3-2 SU and 5-0 ATS. That includes a 99-94 win over the Red Storm. In that game, Freeman-Liberty exploded for 39 points. Even though this game is at MSG, I'll take the points with the hotter team.

ANALYSIS: Xavier finished the regular season on a 2-7 SU skid, one of those victories coming versus lowly Georgetown. The Musketeers did sweep Butler, but remember, Bulldogs senior leader Bo Hodges (10.4 ppg, 6.5 rpg) did not play in the first meeting (87-72 win at Butler). Hodges was in the lineup for the rematch, and Xavier won by two. While Butler closed on a five-game skid, the losing streak included a 1-point defeat to Providence, a six-point loss at Seton Hall and an eight-point loss at Marquette. In fact, the Bulldogs have covered six of their last eight overall and nine of their last 12 when getting points. Grab the points in a game that should go down to the wire.

ANALYSIS: Nebraska was 6-50 in Big Ten play under Fred Hoiberg until a stunning turnaround the past two weeks. The resurgence coincided with the administration saying Hoiberg would return for a fifth season. After a 10-point loss to Iowa, the Cornhuskers blew out Penn State and beat Ohio State and Wisconsin to finish the regular season. I expect leading scorer Bryce McGowens (hand/wrist) to play as he has been practicing on a limited basis. Point guard Alonzo Verge is peaking, averaging 16 points, 5.6 assists and four rebounds on 51 percent shooting over his last eight games. Northwestern swept Nebraska in the regular season by hitting 41.3 percent on 3-pointers. The Wildcats shot 32.1 percent in all other Big Ten games. Take the points.

ANALYSIS: Big East Tournament from New York and I will play this with Eastern Washington over Northern Arizona (won't post that one on SL, though, because it's above -300) -- check out SportsLine's parlay calculator for the price. Xavier is on the NCAA Tournament bubble and absolutely can't lose this game. CBS Sports' Jerry Palm has the Musketeers currently as a No. 10 seed in the Big Dance and that seems a bit generous. XU will not get a bid with a loss here. Butler has been a huge disappointment, is 0-2 vs. Xavier and has lost five straight.

ANALYSIS: Pac-12 Tournament from Las Vegas on Wednesday. If recent play means anything, ASU should clearly advance as it has won seven of eight and beat Stanford 65-56 in the regular-season finale on Saturday. Arizona State is holding opponents to 57.1 points (scoring 68.1) and outrebounding its opponent by +2.6 per game in that eight-game stretch. Overall this season, the Sun Devils are holding opponents to .399 shooting, their best defensive effort since 1971-72. Stanford enters having lost five straight and seven of eight.

ANALYSIS: SWAC Tournament from Birmingham, Ala., on Wednesday. Texas Southern is the No. 2 seed and Jackson State the No. 7 in a matchup of Tigers. TSU won 10 of its final 12 and the only losses were to No. 1 Alcorn State and No. 3 Southern. Texas Southern did lose close at Jackson State on Jan. 17 but shot a brutal 38.2 percent. In the rematch on Feb. 26, TSU won by 15. Texas Southern is the defending tournament champion and definitely could win it again. The SL Projection Model forecasts TSU to win by 5, but I prefer stress-free moneylines at the end of games.

ANALYSIS: I hope this is Minnesota's last game of the season. I watch a lot of B1G basketball, and I don't want to have to watch this team anymore. It's bad. While Penn State isn't exactly good itself, it does defend like hell, and makes you work for everything you get. The Nittany Lions are also the superior rebounding team in this matchup, and that will come in handy against a Minnesota team that can't shoot.

ANALYSIS: Clemson beat NC State on Tuesday to advance and faces a well rested Virginia Tech team it beat over the weekend. As you can see by my pick, I don't expect a repeat performance. While the Hokies aren't great, they defend well and make their free throws. They also have fresh legs. All three of those things stand out to me when it comes to March.

Northwestern has lost five of its last seven. Take the points with Nebraska.

ANALYSIS: Stanford has lost five straight (1-4 ATS), including its regular-season finale at Tempe when ASU beat the Cardinal 65-56. It’s been a long uphill battle for ASU coach Bobby Hurley, who lost nine players to the portal. It took a while to jell, but Hurley got his guys to play his way, and in the last month of the season the hard work was rewarded: ASU won and covered seven of its final eight. It will cover again in the Pac-12 Tournament opener from Las Vegas.

ANALYSIS: America East Tournament semifinal game but note that it is a true home game for UMBC, and that obviously matters. The Retrievers were 2-0 vs. Hartford this season and haven't lost at home since Jan. 19. In close games, free-throw shooting matters and UMBC is at 79.1 percent from the charity stripe, leading the America East and among the best in the nation. Hartford, which shoots more than 10 percent worse from the free-throw line than UMBC, is 5-13 on the road.
