ANALYSIS: I'll keep it simple, Buffalo is dominating the bad teams right now. They just beat Bowling Green by 27 points on the road, and they recently beat this same EMU team as today's game by 38 at home. They're facing an Eagles team that struggles from behind the arc which means there might be little chance for them to keep it close if they fall behind. Buffalo might benefit from this game being rescheduled to 12pm Eastern because on a Thursday afternoon I doubt EMU will have much of a home crowd. This should probably be an 11 or 12 point line, grab it now at -9 before the market figures that out.

ANALYSIS: I see no reason to wait until Thursday morning to pick this game (ML probably rises) as the Rangers are simply money at home for the most part, while the Wings are a bit short-handed on the blueline, and Alex Nedeljkovic is 5-8-2 with a 3.03 GAA on the road. In three February games overall, he has a 4.14 GAA.

ANALYSIS: Utah is truly terrible with its only win in the past 13 games against equally horrid Oregon State. Stanford is an NCAA Tournament bubble team (wrong side) so it can't lose this one. Stanford is 10-3 at home this season, with six of the wins coming by double digits. The Cardinal have outrebounded their opponents 21 of 24 games and only been outrebounded once, posting a plus-7.8 margin on the glass, which is ninth-best nationally. I expect this ML to get over -200 very soon.

ANALYSIS: This feels like a smash spot for the Blazers, who are coming off an upset loss at Old Dominion. They're 14-1 at home, including 6-0 in C-USA home games with an average margin of victory of 20.5. Tonight UAB looks to avenge a five-point loss at Rice on Jan. 8. In that game, Owls starting guard Quincy Olivari played 38 minutes and had 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. But Olivari broke his wrist late in the second half of a Feb. 5 loss to UTEP and is out for the season. In their next conference game, the Owls were destroyed 67-44 by North Texas. Rice also struggled earlier this season when Olivari was hindered by a wrist injury. Lay the points.

ANALYSIS: Bakersfield matches up against Riverside, who is one of the best home Under teams in college basketball. All eight of the Highlander's home games this season have seen the Under hit. This is due to their lack luster offense and top 100 defense. A unique combination, but it sets up well for our play today. I also like that both offenses are perfectly happy taking their time with the ball, as they each rank outside the top 300 teams in average possession length. Riverside is expected to win this game, so if that's going to be the case they're going to do it by limiting Bakersfield's scoring and slowing the game down. Take the under, it should be a 120.5 line according to my numbers.

ANALYSIS: Because of injury/illness to top goaltenders Matt Murray and Anton Forsberg, Filip Gustavsson, just called up, is expected to start in net for the Sens. He's 3-8-1 with a 3.80 GAA in 12 NHL appearances this season. Top blueliner Thomas Chabot and a few key wingers are out. Buffalo stinks but has won two straight and goes with Craig Anderson tonight (6-3-0, 2.67 GAA). This will matter a bit more for Anderson as he played for the Senators for many seasons and hasn't faced them since leaving after the 2019-20 season. He is the Senators' all-time leader in wins (202) and games played by a goalie (435). Odd stat: Each of the last 11 games between these clubs has been decided in regulation.

ANALYSIS: Portland Pilots basketball is not a laughingstock anymore. Under first-year coach Shantay Legans, the Pilots have a shot at their first winning season since 2014-15. They're only 4-6 in WCC play, but three of those losses came to top dogs Gonzaga, St. Mary's and San Francisco. (They also won at San Francisco). A sign of the Pilots' improvement? Santa Clara backed out of an agreement to play a rescheduled game at Portland this past Monday. Tonight the Pilots are in payback mode against the very beatable Torreros, who won the first meeting on Jan. 14 in OT. Look for a big game from reigning WCC Player of the Week Tyler Robertson (14.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 4.1 apg) as the Pilots improve to 8-1 ATS in their last nine versus winning teams.

Hawks won two of their last three games but they have still lost 7 of 10 overall. Hawks are just 8-11-3 at home this season. Road dogs (35.0%) have actually been hitting at about the same rate as home dogs (34.6%) this season, so I am not worried about the road underdog.
