Although Clint Capela (heel) is still out for the Hawks, having Dewayne Dedmon to help battle the Cavaliers’ size is huge. I’ll take the Hawks to win and cover along the way.

You never know which Providence team you are going to get and they do play some head scratching basketball at times, but the Friars have owned this recent series and I can’t see St. John’s snapping it tonight with star player Mustapha Heron sidelined possibly for the season which would end his career. Heron is a great rebounder, shooter and overall is the veteran leader of this team. It’s going to be a lot harder to grab offensive and defensive rebounds without him. Providence is a veteran team with more playing minutes together than just about any team in the nation. Ed Cooley still has a huge advantage of Mike Anderson who will need a season or two to mold the team to his liking. Take Providence.

UC Irvine is the best team the Highlanders have played this year.
