Indiana won its first six games vs schedule #350 (4th-easiest); Hoosiers still haven’t left home- their only top 200 win was 88-75 over #91 La Tech. Indiana is experience team #294 whose bench plays minutes #43- they start three juniors, two frosh. Indiana has gotten 25.7% of its points on foul line (#11). South Dakota State is 4-3 vs schedule #243, losing their top 100 games, by 18 to USC, 7 to Arizona. Jackrabbits are experience team #316 that starts two sophs, one frosh, and is turning ball over 21% of time (242).

James Madison won its last two games with East Carolina, winning 73-72 at ECU LY; Dukes are 3-3 TY vs schedule #242, losing last game at home by 16 to #315 Coppin State. JMU is playing pace #4; they’re experience team #314 that is showing only 31.3% on arc- they’re getting 40.1% of their points on arc (#27). East Carolina lost five of its last six games; they’re shooting only 23.7% on arc (#344)- their opponents are shooting 39.6% (#324). Pirates are experience team #329 that that doesn’t play any seniors- they start two juniors, two frosh.

Buffalo is 4-2 vs schedule #112- they won their last two games by total of 4 points. Bulls are experience team #112 with a new coach that is forcing turnovers 22.4% of time (#66) while playing pace #19. Buffalo lost its only D-I home game to #209 Dartmouth; ; their eFG% is #282 in country. William&Mary 5-2 vs schedule #154- their only losses are to Oklahoma/Stanford, top 100 teams. Tribe is experience team #52 that has made 40% of its 3’s so far- they’re making 40% of their 3’s (#26) but force turnovers only 12.2% of time (4th-worst in country).

Georgetown is 4-2 vs schedule #89, losing by 8 to Duke, by 15 to Penn State; they beat Texas by 16, but haven’t played in eight days. Hoyas are experience team #166 that is turning ball over 22.2% of time (#281) while playing pace #27- they’re rebounding 35.8% of its own misses (#29). NC-Greensboro is 4-2 vs schedule #346; they’re forcing turnovers 26.5% of time (#10), have #37 eFG% in country. Ohio U split its first six D-I games (schedule #35), losing three of last four. Bobcats are #303 experience team that made 44.3% of its 3’s in their wins, 24.7% in losses- they turn ball over 22.3% of time (#287). Ohio played five frosh, two sophs out of nine guys in their last game- their bench plays minutes #348. Detroit is 1-4 vs schedule #67, losing to two teams outside top 200- their only win was over #103 Cal-Irvine. Coach’s son Davis, who shot 38% behind arc LY, is making only 25% of his 3’s so far. Titans are getting 40.4% of their points on arc (#25).

Toledo beat Oakland last two years by 1-13 points, beating Grizzlies 87-86 LY, after trailing by 14 early in game. Rockets are 3-2 vs schedule #261, losing OT game at Notre Dame when they led by 5 with 0:49 left in regulation. Toledo is experience team #107 that doesn’t sub much (bench minutes #341); they’ve made 41.5% of their 3’s (#14). Oakland split its first six D-I games (schedule #216); they’re 0-3 vs top 200 teams, losing by 3-30-24 points. Grizzlies are turning ball over 22.2% of time (#280), are making only 25.5% of their 3’s (#334).

Cincinnati never trailed in 65-61 win at UNLV LY, when Rebels’ Hardy scored 22 points in 25:00 off bench; Bearcats have new coach, are 4-2 vs schedule #197- they’re experience team #62 with a new coach that is turning ball over 22.6% of time (#300), so they’re still adjusting to each other. UNLV is 3-5 vs schedule #267; they’re very thin (bench minutes #315), have already lost OT games to Cal, Kansas State. Rebels are turning ball over 23.7% of time (#317) while playing pace #314- they lost their first two road games, by 17 at UCLA, 4 at Cal.

Vanderbilt won five of first six games vs 2nd-easiest schedule in country in Stackhouse’s 1st year as HC; Commodores’ only loss was 93-92 in OT at Richmond. Vandy has only one win against a team in top 300 (#211 Austin Peay); they’ve made 40.6% of their 3’s (#19), are getting 40.5% of their points on arc (#22). Tulsa won five of first six games vs 4th-easiest schedule; Hurricane is experience team #111 that lost its only road game by 14 at Tex-Arlington- they start three juniors and a senior. Tulsa is getting 22.5% of its points on foul line (#53).

Cal-Irvine is 3-4 vs schedule #56, wth all seven games away from home- they beat a D-III team at home on Nov 12; Anteaters are experience team #194 that is turning ball over 23.2% of time (#312)- they’re generally better on defense than offense, every year. Teams are shooting only 35.2% inside arc (#2) vs Irvine. Eastern Michigan is 6-0 with three non-D-I wins; they played schedule #312 so far. Eagles allowed 50 ppg in their three D-I wins, with #187 North Texas best team they’ve played. EMU hast urned ball over 26.5% of time (#347), place pace #293.

Santa Clara is 5-1 vs schedule #352, with lone loss by 18 at Stanford, their only road game; Broncos are experience team #293 that is turning ball over 22.1% of time (#279). Santa Clara made 12-22 in an 87-75 win over SE Missouri Friday- four starters played 27:00+. Broncos are playing pace #20- their subs are playing minutes #82. Cal-Fullerton lost by 3 to Denver Friday after leading by 13 with 9:15 left; Titans are 2-4 vs schedule #178- they’re making only 26.1% of their 3’s (#329) as they break in new guards- their eFG% is #320.

Tennessee won five of its first six games vs schedule #265; they lost to Florida State by 3 Friday, playing three starters 36:00+. Vols’ only top 100 win was by 13 over Washington- they’re #153 experience team that starts two seniors, two juniors- their bench is playing minutes #347. VCU won six of its first seven games vs schedule #306, forcing turnovers 28.8% of time (#5); Rams’ only win over a team ranked in top 180 was its 84-82 home win over LSU. VCU is experience team #30 that starts four seniors, one junior- they’re making 35.2% of their 3’s (#93).

Florida State won its last six games since a 2-point loss at Pitt; they’ve got top 40 wins over Tennessee, Florida, are experience team #270 whose bench plays minutes #25- they’re the tallest team in country that is forcing turnovers 25% of time (#20), has #18 eFG% defense in country. Purdue beat VCU by 3 Friday, playing three starters 30:00+; they lost by 10 at Marquette, by 4 at home to Texas. Boilers are experience team #206 that starts two sophs, two seniors and is playing 4th-slowest pace in country this month. Purdue is rebounding 39.1% of its own misses (#6).
