I'm all over the Over here. The Over has hit in five of Atlanta's last seven games, and in the Hawks' last 10 games, the total has been under 221 only once. The Over has hit in 38 of Atlanta's 68 games this season, including 18 of 33 at home. Memphis is on a three-game winning streak, averaging 113 points in those games. And in the teams' only meeting this season, they combined for 248 points, a 131-117 Memphis win.

The fact is that Utah, the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, is just three games behind No. 4 seed Oklahoma City in the loss column and still has something to play for. The Jazz also beat Phoenix by 28 in the teams' only meeting this season. Utah covers.

The Heat are just 15-19 at home and now face a Pistons team in bounceback mode after shooting 27.8 percent -- lowest in the NBA this season -- in a blowout loss at Brooklyn. Blake Griffin isn't going to go 1 for 10 again. That performance came on the second day of a back-to-back. Detroit should look more like the team it's been recently. The Pistons are 26-14 with Ish Smith in the lineup, and he went off for 22 points and nine assists off the bench in a 23-point win at Miami three weeks ago. Play the small road dog.

The Bruins' porous defense and above average offense have sent them over the total in seven of their last nine games. I'm sure Stanford is looking forward to the matchup as the Cardinal play much better versus an opponent that likes to run. The last five Stanford games have gone under the total, and the Cardinal are just 1-4 in those games. When Stanford has faced up-tempo teams, here the game's point totals: 142, 184, 155, 156, 142 and 162. The two highest scores (184 and 162) were against UCLA. My projection: Stanford 80, UCLA 79.

I think Boise State has several advantages in this game. I think the Broncos are the better team even though both Boise and Colorado State went 12-9 and 7-11 in conference play. I also think that Boise plays better defense, and the numbers support that. (The Broncos allow 68.7 points a game while the Rams allow 75.5.) Boise is far more experienced when it comes to the conference tournament. And, finally, the Broncos will have revenge on their minds after losing to Colorado State the last time the teams met. My projected final: Boise State 77, Colorado State 69.

While the records are the same I would make Richmond a 9 pt favorite. The Spiders start FIVE underclassman including two freshman. The team has certainly gone through their growing pains and while they lost their last 4 games but the two-home game were to the top two teams in the conference (VCU & Davidson). Fordham at 12-19 only had 12 wins because they started 9-3 and went 9-5 overall vs non-conference foes while playing the #351 schedule ( there are 353 Div-I teams!). The WORST A-10 team (La Salle) shot 39.0% away from home this season and this Fordham squad has NOT topped 37% their last 5 game and have not reached 39% shooting in any game, home or away, in their last TEN games. Richmond has won 15 of 16 in this series and has the confidence to win handily!

Even though DePaul beat St. John's both times this season, one can argue that St. John's is the better team by virtue of its 8-10 Big East Conference record compared to DePaul's 7-11 mark. Kenpom has St. John's ranked No. 75 and DePaul No. 105. The Red Storm also have better offensive and defensive numbers. If you give St. John's two or three points because of the revenge factor and another three points for playing, essentially, at home in Madison Square Garden, the pick is easy. Even though it's tempting when you see the Warriors as underdogs, remember that Houston has beaten them in five of the past six regular-season meetings, including all three this season. Eric Gordon is 26 of 51 from deep in the past five games, and P.J. Tucker is hitting 52.3 percent from deep during Houston's nine-game win streak. Lay the small number.

This was going to be a tough matchup, to begin with, considering the Rockets have won nine straight and are 24-9 at home. The Rockets have won and covered the spread in each of their previous three meetings with the Warriors this season and I like their chances of making it four straight.

Basically, everything that could have gone wrong did in the Pistons’ embarrassing 28-point loss to the Nets on Monday. They were playing the second leg of a back-to-back set and had won five straight heading into that contest, so don’t read too much into one bad outing. They have won both of their last two games against the Heat, including a 23-point victory in Miami a little over two weeks ago. The Heat are only 14-20 ATS at home, including 7-17 ATS as the home favorite. Roll with the Pistons and the points.

Godlen State has covered just twice in its last 13 games, and they have yet to cover in three matchups against Houston. Four of Houston's last five wins have been by double figures, with an average margin over the entire nine-game run by 8.2 ppg. Back the home Rockets to keep the Warriors' slide going at least one more game.

Yes I know Vandy has lost 19 in a row. Vanderbilt was never the same after they blew the Tennessee game when they had their arch rival who was currently #1 in the country at the time down 6 with 90 seconds to play. It would of been a storm the floor win for Vandy knocking off Tennessee at home but they blew the lead and then lost in OT. They simply were never the same after that game. So what’s different now? Everyone gets to start the Tournament at 0-0 it’s a second chance and they will be primed and ready for a big effort tonight. But lets also look at Texas A&M do they deserve to be a favorite on a neutral court to anyone? Texas A&M has shot 38% or less in 3 of their last 4 games not the kind of team you want to be laying points with. Did you know that league wide in College Basketball that Underdogs playing on a neutral court and playing with revenge from a game that they scored 60 points or less and they scored 60 points or less in their last game are 87-46 ATS the last 133 games. Oklahoma has seen an uptick in their offense as well shooting 48% or better in 4 of their last 6 games only failing on the road at Kansas St and Iowa St
