My money is on the Peacocks to cash in an easy win and cover against Marist on Thursday. St. Peter's has covered 4 straight on a neutral site and are simply playing the much better basketball going into the MAAC Tournament. The Peacocks have won and covered 3 of their last 4, including a 10-point win as a mere 1-point favorite in their home finale against Fairfield. Marist on the other hand has lost 4 straight and failed to cover in all 4 games. Wrong team is favored in this one. Bet St. Peter's +2.5!

I'll take my chances here with the Hawkeyes covering as a big 8-point road dog against the Badgers. I just feel there's too much value with Iowa at this price. Sure the Hawkeyes haven't looked good in their last two games, but we know this is a quality team and is not just capable of keeping it close against Wisconsin, but winning the game outright.
Not only has Iowa lost their last two, they have failed to cover 6 straight. No question that is playing into the inflated number. As is this being senior night for Wisconsin. What is getting over looked is the Badgers have not been equally bad against the number, going 1-5 ATS in their last 6.
The biggest thing for me is the first meeting between these two. Badgers won 72-66 at Iowa as a 2-point favorite. They only won by 6, despite them shooting 48% and holding the Hawkeyes to 39% shooting. Chances are Wisconsin fails to shoot as good as they did in the first meeting and chances are Iowa shoots better. Give me the Hawkeyes +8!

My 1* Free Play is on the Milwaukee Bucks (8:05 EST).
Indiana comes into this one having split its last eight games. Overall the Pacers are averaging 108.7 PPG and with star Victor Oladipo gone for the season with injury, it’s been Bojan Bogdanovic who is averaging 17.7 points and 1.8 assists.
Consistency from game to game, especially on the road, has been Indiana’s biggest issue though (has lost five of its last eight away from friendly confines.) Indiana’s strength is on the defensive side of the ball where it concedes 103.7 PPG.
For most of the season the Bucks seemed completely unstoppable, but Milwaukee enters this one looking to make amends after back-to-back losses.
Despite the slight hiccup over the last week though they’re still averaging 117.3 points and allowing 108.2 this season.
Milwaukee also comes in with an average margin of victory of 12.8 points over its visiting opposition.
I’m expecting a much bigger home side blowout here after consecutive shoddy performances.
Consider Milwaukee on Thursday night.

The Avalanche are off a 4-3 win and have scored 3 or more goals in 8 of their last 9 games. Amazingly, the Stars have been shut out or held to just one goal in 5 of their last 10 games. Look for the difference in offensive firepower in this match-up to also prove to be the difference in the outcome of the game as the Avs get it done in this key battle in they playoff race. Dallas has won 3 straight games but they've been fortunate. They were very sloppy in their 1-0 win over the Rangers Tuesday and their defense had a lot of mistakes in their own zone but they were bailed out by their goalie in that one. Of course teams can't rely on that every game and I like the strength of the Avalanche up front, particularly the top line, to key a road win here. Colorado is 7-4 in their last 11 games and the Avs have allowed an average of only 2 goals per game in their last 5 road games. Dallas has lost 20 of last 32 March games. - Scheduling. Calgary has been slumping and it’ll be in a dog fight in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, setting the stage for the home side to take full advantage of a tired visiting side. After six straight wins the Coyotes lost to the Ducks 3-1 last time out. They play with revenge here as well though after falling 5-2 at Calgary in the middle of February.
Key Trends:
- Arizona is 7-2 in its last nine home games when playing with “in season” triple revenge (the Coyotes have in fact lost all three to the Flames so far this year.)
