UMass is definitely worth a look here at basically a pick'em on their home floor against the Spiders. I know UMass is dealing with some injuries right now, but I think that takes away a lot of the motivation for Richmond, who is already primed for a letdown off that crushing 3-point home loss to VCU. On top of that, they have a huge home game against Dayton on deck, which will be their senior day.
Speaking of senior day, this will be the final home game for the Minutemen. I'm expecting a big effort in this spot. It's also worth noting that UMass failed to cover last time out, as they are a strong 4-1 ATS in their last 5 off a non-cover. On the flip side, Richmond covered in their last game and are just 1-5 ATS last 6 off a cover. Minutemen are also 6-1 ATS last 7 when they come in having failed to cover 3 of their last 4. Take UMass!

I like Rutgers and how they are playing nowadays. The Scarlet Knights have won two straight and three of their last five. They are generally better at home where they've knocked off Minnesota, Indiana, Nebraska and Ohio State already. This team has been a covering machine doing so in six straight and nine of their last 11. They have some solid depth and are starting to play a little bit better defense. Rutgers already beat Penn State on the road 64-60 in a game that saw both teams shoot poorly. Penn State has won five of their last eight, but they've struggled at times on the road. They do have victories at Illinois and Northwestern, but they've also lost at Nebraska and Minnesota as well. This one is going to be a low scoring affair. I'll lean to the home team in this one.

Northern Kentucky won this tournament two years ago but was upset in the first round last year. These are two teams headed in opposite directions. The Norse were 13-5 in the Horizon winning 5 of 7 down the stretch. Detroit started 5-1 and went 3-9 the rest of the way. Northern has won all six meetings in the series including booth games this year ... by 22 and 32. Add to the mix that the Titans are 2-6 L8 in this tournament and lost in this round the last two years and by 12 and 24 and you have an easy call.

Now the line has been driven up to as high as a 5.5 as of early Wednesday morning. The Timberwolves are in a back to back spot here but they are catching Detroit off an upset win over Toronto. Minnesota did lose most recently in their 2nd game of a back to back. However, prior to that loss at Indiana on the 28th, the Wolves were a perfect 4-0 ATS the 4 times in 2019 that they've played the 2nd game of a back to back. As for the Pistons, they are 4-8 ATS in home games with a posted total of 220 or more. Also, Detroit's win over the Raptors stopped a lengthy losing streak for the Pistons against Toronto. Ironically now tonight it is Detroit that is on the other side of a lengthy streak in a series and it is Minnesota's turn to return the favor. Look for the Timberwolves to do just that. The Washington Wizards are still trying to make the playoffs. They are three games back of 8th place in the East. They have won in upset fashion in two of their last three games with their only loss coming on the road to the Celtics. They beat Brookyn on the road 125-116 as 5-point dogs and upset Minnesota 135-121 at home as 1-point dogs. Now the Wizards have had two days off since that win over the Timberwolves on Sunday. The Mavericks appear to be tanking. They are 1-7 SU & 1-7 ATS in their last eight games with all seven losses coming by at least 9 points, including the last two by 30 and 39 points to Memphis and Brooklyn, respectively. Give me the Wizards.

Morehead State had a much better season then the pundits expected, and are viable favs here vs SIU Edwardsville according to my projections. MOREHEAD ST is 15-4 ATS L/19 in road games versus terrible defensive teams - shooting pct defense of 48% or worse.
MOREHEAD ST is 8-0 ATS in a neutral court game where the total is 140 to 149.5 since 1997.
CBB Favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points (MOREHEAD ST) - revenging a straight up loss vs opponent as a road favorite against opponent off a blowout loss by 20 points or more to a conference rival are 31-12 ATS L/5 seasons for a 71% conversion are for bettors on the blind.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to try hard every night they hit the court. That’s evident by the fact that they have gone 5-3 SU & 5-3 ATS in their last eight games overall. But this line indicates that they won’t even show up tonight, and I’m not buying it.
I think Brooklyn is backed to being overvalued off its 127-88 home win over the Mavericks last time out, a Dallas team that clearly has quit. But they had lost three straight to Washington by 9 at home, Charlotte by 11 at home and Miami by 29 on the road prior to that win, so it’s like like they are all of a sudden fixed.
And you can bet the Cavaliers want revenge from a 139-148 (OT) home loss to Brooklyn on February 13th roughly three weeks ago in triple-overtime. Home-court advantage has meant little in this series as the road team is a perfect 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings with four straight up wins.
The Cavaliers also come in rested and ready to go, and they are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games when playing on two days’ rest. Brooklyn is 3-12 ATS in home games vs. Central Division opponents over the last two seasons. Bet the Cavaliers Wednesday.

I'll take my chances here with the Bluejays laying the short number at home against the Friars. I really like what I've seen from Creighton over the last couple weeks. They come in having won and covered 3 straight, starting with a 12-point win at DePaul as a 1-point dog. They then rolled Georgetown 82-69 as a mere 6-point home favorite and the most impressive came in their last game, where they won 66-60 at Marquette as a 7-point dog.
I just see no reason for them to suffer a setback here at home against a team like Providence. One they already beat on the road by 11 earlier this season. Friars come in off a win over Butler, which I think is keeping this line lower than it should be. Providence is just 3-6 in their last 9 games overall and just don't have the offensive fire-power to keep this close. Creighton averages 83 ppg on 51% shooting at home. Friars average 67.7 ppg and 39.1% shooting in conference games. Give me the Bluejays -5!
