Alabama is 3-0, beating Memphis by 12; Crimson Tide is shooting 45.8% from arc, 52% on foul line- they’re in bottom 10 in country in experience, Arlington is most experienced team in country. Wichita State didn’t come to play Monday, was down 17 to Cal with 13:44 left, rallied and won by 10 over an extremely young Cal squad. Shockers are missing McDuffie, one of their best guys; they’re holding teams to 34.5% inside arc in their 3-0 start. Marquette lost by 15 at home to Purdue, beat VCU by 11 yesterday; Eagles were 13-36 arc Monday, 21-30 inside it- they start two sophs, two seniors. VCU lost its last two games, by 9 to Virginia, by 11 to Marquette; they had travel issues on their way to Maui which cost them a day of prep time. LSU was down 9 with 5:11 left last nite, beat Michigan 77-75; Tigers have a really good freshman PG- they shot 69% inside arc vs Wolverines. LSU played three guys 30:00+. Notre Dame had glorified bye with win over D-II Chaminade Monday; Irish are 4-0, but DePaul is only top 200 team they’ve played. ND played four guys 30:00+ Monday- they start three seniors. Oklahoma State was 3-24 on arc, 12-22 on line in 72-55 loss to Texas Aggies Monday; Cowboys got 6-6 senior back last nite, but he was just 2-12 from floor in his ’18 debut. No OSU player played more than 28:00. Pitt is off to a terrible 1-3 start- they lost by 31 to Penn State yesterday. Panthers start two freshmen, two seniors; their only win was over UCSB by 8 -they lost to Nvy and Montana. Last 2+ years, Big X teams are 12-3 vs spread when facing ACC squads. Big X favorites are 15-8 vs spread; ACC underdogs are 2-3.

Texas A&M is 3-0, with all three wins by 17+ points, and one of those was over West Virginia. Aggies got 6-10 star Williams back Monday- he had 11 points, 9 boards off bench. A&M starts three juniors, two seniors. Penn State is 5-0 with #143 Montana their best victim so far; closest game they’ve played was 11 points. Nittany Lions are forcing turnovers 25.9% of time, they start three sophomores. Last 2+ years, Big 14 teams are 11-7-1 vs spread when playing SEC teams. SEC favorites are 7-3 vs spread away from home; Big 14 underdogs are 1-5.
