ANALYSIS: My model says the Rockies cover in well over 60 percent of the simulations, so you're getting strong value with them at this number. Colorado took two of three from St. Louis at home last week, scoring 29 runs in the series while allowing 20. Rockies OF Charlie Blackmon is 9-for-16 lifetime against Cardinals LHP Jose Quintana, who defeated Colorado last Wednesday but was tagged for six runs in five innings last month while with Pittsburgh and owns a 5.27 career ERA versus the Rockies. Take Colorado +1.5 runs at -135.

ANALYSIS: There aren't many MLB regular-season games the rest of the way that I will make a point to watch, but this is clearly one in a spectacular matchup between AL Cy Young favorites Justin Verlander and Dylan Cease (see news feed). They were the two MLB ERA leaders as as well, but Cease fell to third on Monday when Miami's Sandy Alcantara dominated the Padres (and got us a win on that Under). Just out of principle I have to go Under here. Cease has allowed 1 ER or fewer in 14 straight starts. I tend to think that streak ends tonight but even if he allows two ER, I don't think the White Sox sans Tim Anderson and maybe Luis Robert are scoring more than four off Verlander or the Houston bullpen. I could see this total dropping to 6.5 as action is heavy on the Under.

I think the Brewers can generate runs while we all know the Dodgers score, as they are the best in baseball. I think this total is low, and both teams will at least get four runs each. Take the Over.

ANALYSIS: These two teams faced off in Colorado about a week ago with the Rockies winning two of the three games in the series. However, these games are in St. Louis and the Rockies have lost 13 of their last 14 games in St. Louis. The Cardinals are 13-7 since the All-Star break but they are 8-1 at home in that time. The Rockies are 8-16 since the ASB but they are 3-9 on the road. Kyle Freeland was hit hard in his last start against the Cardinals, and he has been very hit or miss all season. Jose Quintana has made two quality starts since coming to the Cardinals including one against the Rockies in Colorado. The Cards have the best wOBA in the league against lefties since the All-Star break. I like the Cards at home at +100 on the run line.

ANALYSIS: I thought the Braves would come out with revenge on their minds yesterday and that’s exactly what they did. Travis D’arnaud also returned to the lineup and that was big for the Braves. Charlie Morton has been extremely hit or miss this season and he actually hasn’t had much success against the Mets. However, Taijuan Walker is starting for the Mets and he has actually been hit hard lately and he allowed 8 ER in 1 IP against the Braves two starts ago in his only time facing them this season. The Braves are 7-2 at home since the All-Star break and the Mets bullpen is ranked just 19th since the ASB while the Braves are ranked 13th.

ANALYSIS: I don’t really care who is pitching for the Dodgers, anytime they’re underdogs while playing the way they are right now, I will take them. They have now won 34 of their last 40 games and 13 of their last 14 games. Ryan Pepiot is making just his 6th career start but he has pitched solid in his five previous starts, he just doesn’t make it deep in games. However, the Dodgers have the 4th best bullpen ERA since the All-Star break. Brandon Woodruff has pitched a quality start in 6 of his 8 starts since returning from the IL but then he has the 26th ranked bullpen since the ASB backing him up. I like the Dodgers at plus money.
