The Twins bullpen is a bit worked and I like the Padres at home in this series. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see the Twins rest one of their top players.

ANALYSIS: Austin Voth has been a lot better lately, he is 1-1 with a 3.09 ERA in his last seven appearances. Nick Lodolo is very hit or miss. Ryan Mountcastle could be out again but the Reds closer in Hunter Strickland is on the bereavement list. The Orioles are 16-8 in July. The Orioles bullpen should be completely available too, like them to win the series.

ANALYSIS: Scheduled starters Dane Dunning of the Rangers and L.A.’s Reid Detmers have been middling (or worse), so this one will come down to offense. Texas has been pretty average, but it has scored 60 more runs than L.A. this season. The Angels had scored two or fewer in five of their eight games since the All-Star break, while the Rangers had scored three or more in six of nine. One game where they didn’t was a 2-0 victory in the opening game of this series. Texas had won six of the past seven meetings entering Saturday night’s game. The Rangers are winning in 55 percent of the SportsLine Projection Model’s simulations, bringing great value at plus money.
