ANALYSIS: St. Louis' Adam Wainwright sports a 4.81 ERA on the road and has to face a Blue Jays lineup that's on fire. Toronto has scored an even 50 runs -- 12.5 per game! -- in four games since the All-Star Break. Jays starter Kevin Gausman (3.00 ERA) blanked the Cardinals over six innings on May 24 in St. Louis, fanning eight and allowing four hits. He'll face a Cards lineup missing Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado (both unvaccinated), as well as Juan Yepez (forearm). That trio ranks 1-2-3 on the team in homers, having combined for 53. Play the Jays on the run line at -115.

ANALYSIS: I realize the Braves are resting Ronald Acuna (0 for 5 with a strikeout Tuesday) but I still like their lineup versus Kyle Gibson. His velocity is down from last year, he was shelled by the Cubs last time out, and he sports a 4.69 ERA. Since the start of June, Gibson owns a 7.36 ERA at home. Atlanta's Charlie Morton has been solid (two or fewer earned runs allowed) in six of his past seven starts and comes off six scoreless innings versus the Angels. The Braves were as high as -165 this morning so this price is attractive.

ANALYSIS: I guess I understand why Texas is a short moneyline favorite because pitcher Jon Gray has been better of late than Seattle counterpart Marco Gonzales, but the Mariners simply own the Rangers of late and Gonzales had been excellent before a few rough outings. Gray has been worse on the road (3-4, 3.74 ERA) and Gonzales better during the day (3.10 ERA). I'll happily take -155 on the runline.

ANALYSIS: This number already has dipped to 7 at most books so I'm getting value in theory; I know my track record on totals, but a day game at Comerica Park usually means pitchers dominate. Both Yu Darvish and Tarik Skubal are capable of it. Plus, I'm not expecting Manny Machado in the lineup for the Friars after he tweaked his ankle last night and with the team off Thursday. Better to get him two days off. Looks like the wind is blowing in from right field as well.

ANALYSIS: Somewhat of a weaker lineup today for Atlanta with Ronald Acuna out and the likes of Robinson Cano and Mike Ford in. The Phillies have had some success this year against Braves starter Charlie Morton (5.40 ERA in two starts vs. PHI). Alec Bohm is on an 11-game hitting streak and JT Realmuto eight in a row for the home side. This is simply good value at -120 on the RL.

ANALYSIS: Tarik Skubal hasn’t been pitching that well lately, but he takes on a Padres team that is 21st in the league in wOBA against lefties in July. Yu Darvish has been pitching well lately and I honestly think he’ll dominate in the big Comerica Park. However, the Padres are also resting a couple key players like Eric Hosmer and Nomar Mazara. I like the value in the home dog.

This should be his last game as a Red before being traded and he will probably be the most coveted Starter on the market. Braxton Garrett has actually impressed me a lot but the Reds absolutely crush lefties. The Marlins are still without many key players, take the Reds.

ANALYSIS: The Angels are calling up a first team All-MLB name in Janson Junk for his first career start. He did pitch one inning already for his debut but this should be pretty similar to the debut jitters. Brad Keller has been hit or miss but he should have success against the Angels. Angel Zerpa was injured early yesterday so that really changed the course of that game, but I think the Royals bounce back. They are 12-11 in July and 8-4 at home. The Angels are 4-15 in July and 3-11 on the road.

ANALYSIS: Apologies for the short writeups today yall, all day games and multiple shows to do so Ive gotta keep it quick. Antonio Senzatela is much better at home and pitched well in his one start off the IL. Lucas Giolito has just been terrible this season and he won’t be helped by the thin air of Coors Field. It was tough travel for the Rockies yesterday after the late Monday night game in Milwaukee, so I was not surprised to see them flat yesterday. But the Rockies are 7-4 at home in July.
