The Rays just swept four games from the Red Sox, but I have to take the Orioles as an underdog Friday as they ride a 10-game win streak. Tyler Wells has been one of the driving forces for the Orioles getting over .500 as they’ve won his last eight starts. Take the Orioles to win.

ANALYSIS: The Mariners have won 11 straight games and also have won Robbie Ray’s last five starts with him allowing no more than one run in any start. It’s a big price to lay on the road, but I laid it because it’s actually cheap. Texas' Matt Bush is the opener, and then we get the Rangers' beat-up bullpen that has 21 saves and 16 blown saves. One of those blown saves was by Bush the last time he faced Seattle (June 5), serving up a homer and three runs in a 6-5 Mariners win. Seattle beat up the Rangers bullpen last night to win 6-5 as well. Mariners win again.

ANALYSIS: Yu Darvish loves pitching at Petco. In 53 1/3 innings there this season, he has an ERA of 1.69 and a 0.73 whip, and hitters are hitting just .158. Madison Bumgarner is still a slightly above average pitcher who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of his last six starts. The Padres are slightly below average versus lefties at home. Arizona is below average versus righties on the road. I'm on the Under.

The Orioles are in the basement but, after ten straight wins, are back in the mix of a wildcard run. Tampa is in second place and has won 4 straight. The Rays are a great team at home. Luis Patino is fresh as he only pitched an inning this year and can strike out many batters per game. I like the home team to break the Baltimore streak. Take the Rays.
