GOLDEN ST. @ BOSTON | 06/16 | 9:00 PM EDT
BOSTON -168
ANALYSIS: The Celtics have lost back-to-back games in this postseason for the first time but haven't lost three straight games overall since late December. They are 3-0 in playoff elimination games. The C's do need to cut down on turnovers as they are allowing 22.4 points off of 16.8 turnovers per loss this postseason and giving up 12.8 turnovers for 14.4 opponent points in their wins. Dunno, maybe I just really want to see a Game 7. Someone on Boston needs to get Draymond Green acting crazy tonight again.

SAN DIEGO @ CHI. CUBS | 06/16 | 2:20 PM EDT
SAN DIEGO -175
ANALYSIS: The Cubs have lost nine straight and it's sure hard to see them beating NL Cy Young contender Joe Musgrove, who has a 1.50 ERA through 11 starts while striking out 72 batters in 72 innings. Opponents are hitting just .196 against Musgrove and over his past four starts, Musgrove has allowed one run over 27 innings (0.33 ERA), during which opponents are hitting .160 against him. But, then, a lot of baseball results aren't making much sense right now.

OVER 11
ANALYSIS: It’s a warm day at Wrigley Field with winds blowing to right-center at 15 miles per hour so Padres starter Joe Musgrove (7-0, 1.50 ERA) likely isn’t happy, but Cubs batters have to make contact to do damage. The Padres have won 10 of his 11 starts. San Diego is going for a four-game sweep, and the hitters surely don’t want to leave. The Padres have scored 35 runs in the first three games. The Cubs have lost nine straight. Over is the top play.

SAN DIEGO @ CHI. CUBS | 06/16 | 2:20 PM EDT
SAN DIEGO -1.5
ANALYSIS: During the CUbs' nine-game skid, they've posted an 8.29 ERA while serving up 21 homers. The Padres have outscored them 31-10 over the past two games. Now San Diego trots out ace Joe Musgrove, who has allowed one run over his last 27 innings. Look for San Diego to keep raking vs. Cubs rookie Matt Swarmer (6 HRs allowed last outing) and play the Padres -1.5 runs at -130.

SAN DIEGO @ CHI. CUBS | 06/16 | 2:20 PM EDT
SAN DIEGO -175
ANALYSIS: I thought the Padres would be resting multiple starters today which is why I didnt play this earlier, but their full lineup is in. Joe Musgrove has been absolutely dominant this season and the Padres bullpen is well rested behind him with all these blowouts. The Cubs have now lost 9 straight games and their bullpen has looked awful. Matt Swarmer was hit hard in his last outing and he has been allowing plenty of home runs. I like the Padres here.

TEXAS @ DETROIT | 06/16 | 7:10 PM EDT
TEXAS -160
ANALYSIS: Martin Perez was hit hard in his last outing but that was really his only bad outing all season. Beau Brieske has been hit or miss this season, but this Tigers team is just brutal right now. The Rangers were hitting in their last couple series and their bullpen is rested. I like the Rangers behind their ace.

MILWAUKEE @ N.Y. METS | 06/16 | 7:10 PM EDT
N.Y. METS -130
ANALYSIS: Aaron Ashby has struggled as of late and he is coming off probably his worst outing this season. Tylor Megill was decent in his first game back off the IL but he didn’t make it deep into the game. The Mets didn’t use any of their top relievers in either of the past two games though so they should be fine to go five innings today. The Brewers were the beneficiaries of an error last night that would have ended the Brewers big inning but it was extended because of it. They have still lost 11 of their past 14 games and the Mets are 20-9 at home this season. Take the Mets.

GOLDEN ST. @ BOSTON | 06/16 | 9:00 PM EDT
BOSTON -3.5
ANALYSIS: The Warriors pulled off an impressive win in Game 5, despite Stephen Curry failing to hit a single three-point shot. They have the Celtics on the brink of elimination, but have the unenviable task of trying to knock them out in Boston. The Celtics losing the last two games were their first back-to-back defeats since March. I don’t think they will be knocked out on the home floor, and since each game of this series has been decided by at least 10 points, I’ll take them to cover as they force a Game 7.
