We're taking the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night to win and cover at home against the Golden State Warriors.
Full Breakdown
It's circle the wagons time now for the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night as what initially looked to be a compelling series, with Dallas up by as many as 19 points in Game 2, has turned into a rout as the Warriors head to Dallas on Tuesday looking for the 4-0 sweep and a berth in the NBA Finals.
However, we don't expect that to happen here in Game 4.
The Warriors have outshot the Mavericks from three point range over this series so far by a mammoth 6.8% average, only 0.2% separated them on home/road form over the course of the regular season, with Dallas' offensive rebound production deserting them also, dipping to around a third less from their regular season average.
Despite all those shooting and rebounding issues the Mavericks have been experiencing however, Dallas has still been heavily competitive in each of the last two games against the Warriors, and we expect a similar outing here on Tuesday only for the tide to finally turn Dallas' way in Game 4.
The Mavericks are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games facing teams with an overall winning road record while the Warriors are just 1-5 ATS in their last six against .600 or greater home teams, so Sunday's win and cover for Golden State represented the exception rather than the rule.
We expect the Mavericks to win and cover here on Tuesday on home court against the Warriors and push this to a Game 5 in California on Thursday.

CAROLINA @ N.Y. RANGERS | 05/24 | 7:00 PM EDT
N.Y. RANGERS -114
ANALYSIS: Well, the oddsmakers basically took away our motivation for betting Under the total in this series as it's down to 5 for Game 4, and I don't like going Under that number as I expect a 3-2 Rangers victory Tuesday. Igor Shesterkin is back to his Vezina Trophy self, and Carolina is winless on the road in these playoffs (each loss by at least two goals). The Blueshirts have won their past four at home.

BOSTON @ CHI. WHITE SOX | 05/24 | 8:10 PM EDT
CHI. WHITE SOX -157
ANALYSIS: Did my White Sox find their mojo on Sunday in sweeping a doubleheader at the Yankees? Here's hoping so. With Monday off, everyone of note should be in the lineup Tuesday (ditto for Boston, though) and it's a clear pitching advantage with Chicago's Dylan Cease (4-1, 3.09 ERA, 67Ks) against Boston's Nick Pivetta (2-4, 4.22) even though Pivetta has been much better of late. Chicago is 9-3 in its past 12 as a favorite.

CALGARY @ EDMONTON | 05/24 | 9:30 PM EDT
EDMONTON -120
ANALYSIS: I liked Calgary to win this series when it started because the Flames were supposed to have such a huge edge in net with Jacob Markstrom over ancient Mike Smith, but that has definitely not been the case since Game 2. Markstrom has allowed 15 total goals in the series, which is shocking -- even against the high-powered Oilers. Their trio of Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane has been absolutely unstoppable and crazy fun to watch. The Flames are 1-6 in their last seven games as road underdogs.

MIAMI @ TAMPA BAY | 05/24 | 6:40 PM EDT
UNDER 6.5
ANALYSIS: Miami's Pablo Lopez has a 0.47 ERA on the road, he's held the Rays to a .188 average in four career starts against them and he should be primed for a big outing after a disappointing start last time out. The Rays' Shane McClanahan has allowed one run over his past two starts covering 14 innings, he has a 0.86 WHIP, and he's facing a depleted Miami lineup. For the season, the Marlins rank 26th in OPS against left-handers. The Rays are worse offensively at home, and the Marlins are worse on the road. Monday was an off day for both teams, so the bullpens are rested. Go Under.

OAKLAND @ SEATTLE | 05/24 | 9:40 PM EDT
SEATTLE -160
ANALYSIS: The Mariners were winners for us Monday night, and I'm going right back to them -- simply a different team at home. Top M's pitching prospect George Kirby wasn't very good last time out but that was against a Red Sox lineup in Boston that is miles better than Oakland's lineup. In his lone home start thus far, Kirby blanked Tampa Bay over six innings. Oh, and Seattle has won 13 consecutive games against the A's, a franchise record for most consecutive wins against a single opponent.

ST. LOUIS @ COLORADO | 05/25 | 8:00 PM EDT
COLORADO -250
ANALYSIS: I don't really like this number very much for Wednesday, but I also can't talk myself into either puckline. As good as Blues goaltender Ville Husso was in the regular season, he has been that lousy in these playoffs and with No. 1 Jordan Binnington out injured, St. Louis has nowhere else to turn. Tough to see Colorado blowing a chance to finish this series at home and rest up for either Calgary or Edmonton. Perhaps take Avs in regulation to bring this down.

CALGARY @ EDMONTON | 05/24 | 9:30 PM EDT
EDMONTON -120
ANALYSIS: Jacob Markstrom has looked extremely pedestrian this series and he has been absolutely torched by the Oilers in his career. I think that is getting in his head as he has yet to put together a good game this series. The Oilers confidence is at an all-time high right now and at almost a pick em, I like them to win both home games. The Flames strength is their goalie and defense, yet they have been incapable of playing that game. The Oilers are faster, and they know they can comeback at any time after tying it up down 6-2 in Calgary, even though they eventually lost that game. Take the Oilers to go up 3-1.

BOSTON @ CHI. WHITE SOX | 05/24 | 8:10 PM EDT
BOSTON 150
ANALYSIS: Nick Pivetta is one of the streakiest pitchers in the league, but when he is pitching well, he pitches very well. He has now pitched three straight quality starts and allowed just 2 ER in 22 IP. That includes six scoreless innings against the White Sox. Dylan Cease is also pitching well this season and he allowed 1 ER in 5 IP against the Red Sox earlier this season. The White Sox actually swept the Red Sox in Boston earlier this month, but I think that just means more of a revenge spot for the Red Sox now that they are playing well. The Red Sox have won five straight games now and 8 of their last 10 games overall, so we know they are hot right now. The White Sox just beat the Yankees in a doubleheader, but they lost 6 of their last 10 games before that sweep, so we just don't know if they've turned things around. The White Sox are also just 9-10 at home this season and struggle against righties. The Red Sox have the third highest wOBA in the league against righties in May while the White Sox are ranked 20th. Everything for me points to this game being a toss-up, I like the value on the Red Sox on the road.

MIAMI @ TAMPA BAY | 05/24 | 6:40 PM EDT
TAMPA BAY -145
ANALYSIS: Shane McClanahan has been absolutely dominant this season not allowing more than 3 ER in a start yet. He will also be facing one of the worst teams in the league against lefties today. Pablo Lopez has also been dominant but historically he has been much worse on the road. Wander Franco has been out the past couple games with an injury but he is expected back in the lineup today. The Marlins have also lost 15 of their last 17 meetings between these teams including 7 of their last 8 on the road.

L.A. DODGERS @ WASHINGTON | 05/24 | 7:05 PM EDT
L.A. DODGERS -210
ANALYSIS: I wasn't going to play the Dodgers here because MLB runs scored leader and red-hot Mookie Betts was supposed to get tonight off per Manager Dave Roberts. Instead, Roberts is resting Cody Bellinger, who is way less important (Justin Turner is also in the lineup after getting Monday off). Now, I'll roll the dice even at this price behind Dodgers ace Walker Buehler, who is 3-0 with a 1.29 road ERA. Washington's Josiah Gray, acquired from the Dodgers last year, is 1-3 with a 6.43 ERA at home. If you bump this down to Dodgers -1, you save about 35 cents.

MIAMI @ TAMPA BAY | 05/24 | 6:40 PM EDT
TAMPA BAY -145
ANALYSIS: We have to back the Rays at home at a solid price behind stud lefty Shane McClanahan, who is second in the majors with 65 strikeouts and has a 2.33 ERA. Yep, Miami's Pablo Lopez has a 1.57 ERA, but he's not that good obviously and comes off his worst start of the year vs. Washington. Tampa Bay young star infielder Wander Franco is back in the starting lineup after not starting a couple with a quad injury. Miami young star infielder Jazz Chisholm may not start with hamstring tightness that forced him out Sunday (update: he's not in the lineup). ⚾ By the way, not a single person living in Florida that I've ever met actually calls this the Citrus Series. That's LAME.

CHI. CUBS @ CINCINNATI | 05/24 | 6:40 PM EDT
CINCINNATI -110
ANALYSIS: Tyler Mahle has been much better lately after his poor start to the season. He should have success against a righty heavy Cubs lineup that is missing Willson Contreras as well. The Reds are finally healthy, and you can tell with the depth in their lineup. Colin Moran is now hitting eighth after hitting fourth with everyone injured. Marcus Stroman has been very hit or miss all season bouncing in and out of the lineup. But I think he will struggle against a team like the Reds that hits a lot of home runs in a stadium as small as the Reds. Take the Reds at home.

BOSTON @ CHI. WHITE SOX | 05/24 | 8:10 PM EDT
CHI. WHITE SOX -160
ANALYSIS: Over his last three starts, Nick Pivetta has been nearly flawless. He’s surrendered just two total runs and is coming off a complete game his last outing. He threw a season-high 112 pitches in that outing. Moreover, he received no run support when the Red Sox lost 3-1 against the White Sox on May 7. Lay the price with the White Sox.

MILWAUKEE @ SAN DIEGO | 05/24 | 9:40 PM EDT
MILWAUKEE -135
ANALYSIS: On Monday, the Milwaukee Brewers looked fatigued in their loss. They squandered multiple golden opportunities to score runs. In extra innings, they could not score with the bases loaded. On Tuesday, they’ll take advantage of Blake Snell’s second start and an expected short outing. Grab the Brewers.
