ANALYSIS: No reason to wait on this total -- yes, I realize five of the six games of this series have seen at least seven goals scored, but historically Game 7s are low-scoring affairs. Tampa Bay played four of them last year and there weren't more than four goals scored in any. Obviously helped that Andrei Vasilevskiy shut out the opponent in all. Definitely not saying that will happen here. Absolutely will not pick a side, though, as I have a fondness for both franchises (do want Leafs to win as that city deserves it) and simply want to enjoy the game.

ANALYSIS: Saturday is the first time in eight years there will be three NHL Game 7s on the same day so I have to pick them all. In 2014, I still had a perm I think. And I rocked it Napoleon Dynamite style! "Kip bring me my Chapstick!" No chance I'm backing the Oilers north of -200 again as they have burned me twice at home in this series. Do I think they win? I do. The Kings can't outscore the Oilers, that's been proven. They have to clog up the neutral zone and hope Jonathan Quick is on his game. Again most Game 7s are low scoring.

ANALYSIS: Does home-ice advantage matter this much? With the last line change and Boston's stellar trio of Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron, yes. It's all about defending them. The Canes have dominated the three at home and the B's their three at home. Sometimes it's simple, stupid. For what it's worth, and not much, Carolina can tie an NHL record with its sixth straight Game 7 win. Obviously goes back years. I like random facts, for example: "Did you know that the human head weighs 8 pounds? Do you know that bees and dogs can smell fear?"
