SAN DIEGO @ WASHINGTON | 07/16 | 7:05 PM EDT
WASHINGTON +1.5
ANALYSIS: The Nats are significant home underdogs, enabling us to grab them on the run line at a reasonable price. On July 7, Washington shelled Chris Paddack for nine runs (eight earned) over two innings in a 15-5 win. Then the Padres used him in relief right before the All-Star Break, and he allowed four hits and a run over two innings vs. Colorado. Nats starter Erick Fedde also was hit hard by the Padres in San Diego, but he's thrown 12 scoreless innings in his last two home starts. Take Washington plus 1.5 runs at -135.

MILWAUKEE @ CINCINNATI | 07/16 | 7:10 PM EDT
CINCINNATI -125
ANALYSIS: Very unusual scheduling here as these clubs played four games against one another in Milwaukee to close the first half -- the Reds won the final three -- and now they play three immediately again in Cincinnati. This is a pitching rematch of last Thursday between the Brewers' Adrian Houser and Reds' Tyler Mahle. Both guys allowed three runs in a ND. Mahle doesn't have great home splits but is 3-0 with a 2.55 ERA at night. Houser has been a bit worse on the road this year and has a 6.75 ERA in two visits to Cincinnati. The Reds are 11-1 in their past 12 as home favorites.

Rotation #908
Reds-125 over Brewers
Mahle/Houser
The worst thing that happen to the Cincinnati Reds was the all-star break because this team was the hottest team in baseball heading into the all-star break. It is now time for the Reds to make their move in the NL Central and it can start tonight as the Brewers are just 4 games ahead of them in the standings. Both pitchers are having good years, but Tyler Mahle has been a strikeout machine and has issued less walks per inning. Let’s see if Cincinnati can continue the hot hand. Take the Reds.
