TEXAS @ OAKLAND | 06/29 | 9:40 PM EDT
OAKLAND -177
ANALYSIS: My model says the Athletics win in over 60 percent of the simulations, so you're getting strong value with them at this number. After a disappointing 4-6 road trip, Oakland returns home, where it has won six in a row and eight of nine. Texas owns the worst road record in the American League (10-27) and has won just one of its last 20 away from home. The Rangers haven't fared well in Oakland lately, losing seven of their last eight visits. Expect the Athletics to continue the dominance.

Play: Boston Red Sox -1.5 (-105) B Keller (RHP), N Pivetta (RHP) Must Start
After cashing with the Red Sox yesterday we’ll run right back to the window with them on the run line today. Boston is in great current form, having won 4 straight and 5 of their last 7 games, including a sweep of the Yankees over the weekend. The Sox have been doing a great job of scoring runs, plating 6,9,4, and 5 runs in their last 4 games. Nick Pivetta is a guy we’ve had success backing all year long, and he’s coming off his best start of the season. Pivetta didn’t allow a single hit in 6.2 innings in his last start as Boston had a combined no-hitter going into the 8th. On the other side, we have a Royals team that has lost 6 in a row and 13 of 16. Brad Keller enters with an ERA of 6.39 and has been roughed up in each of his last 4 starts. Take the Red Sox run line.
Line Parameter: 4 units at -110 or lower, 3 units at higher than -110
Game: (923) Minnesota Twins at (924) Chicago White Sox
Date/Time: Jun 29 2021 8:10 PM EDT
Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line
Play Rating: 4 units
Play: Chicago White Sox -126 K Maeda (RHP), L Giolito (RHP) Must Start
Tuesday is a rare opportunity for us to get the White Sox at a cheap price with a good pitcher on mound. Lucas Giolito is the scheduled starter for Chicago. He allowed 2 runs through 6 innings of work vs the Pirates last time out. Giolito has been a consistent starter for most of the season and for whatever reason Minnesota has struggled mightily against the White Sox this year. The Twins are 1-6 in the last 7 meetings between the two teams and 0-4 in their last 4 games in Chicago. Take the White Sox.
Line Parameter: 4 units at -130 or lower, 3 units at higher than -130

SAN FRANCISCO @ L.A. DODGERS | 06/29 | 10:10 PM EDT
SAN FRANCISCO +130
ANALYSIS: The Giants are 5-0 SU as an underdog in the last game of a road series after they scored in at most two separate innings. Since early this season, the Dodgers are 0-8 at home when it is not a series opener and their opponent’s starter has an ERA of less than 3.25.
CHI. CUBS @ MILWAUKEE | 06/29 | 8:10 PM EDT
CHI. CUBS +183
ANALYSIS: The Cubs are 6-0 as an underdog off a road game when seeking same-season revenge versus their opponent’s starting pitcher, it is before the All-Star break and not a series opener. Also, Chicago is a brilliant 8-0 as a 170-plus underdog in the second game of a series when they had more strikeouts than hits in the series opener and were not shut out. They are 4-0 as a road underdog of more than +150 off a road game in which they allowed 12-plus hits, winning each of the four games by multiple runs.
MIAMI @ PHILADELPHIA | 06/29 | 7:05 PM EDT
PHILADELPHIA +101
ANALYSIS: The Phillies are 5-0 as an underdog behind Vince Velasquez when he went fewer than five innings in his last start. The Marlins are 0-8 in the first game of a series with rest as a road favorite after a game in which their bullpen went at least one inning and did not allow a run and it is before the All-Star break.
TAMPA BAY @ WASHINGTON | 06/29 | 7:05 PM EDT
TAMPA BAY -115
ANALYSIS: The Nationals are 0-13 in the first game of a series when their line is within 20 cents of pick'em when they had multiple multiple-run innings as a home favorite the prior day The Rays are a reliable 13-0 as a road favorite off a home game in which they used five-plus pitchers, winning by an average final score of 6.23 to 2.31.

MIAMI +1.5
ANALYSIS: Should the Phillies be favored here? They are a lot better at home but also well under .500 vs. lefties -- we won fading them Monday against one in Cincinnati -- and face a terrific southpaw in Miami's Trevor Rogers (7-4, 2.08). He's 4-2 with a 2.01 ERA on the road and has a 1.42 ERA in two starts vs. the Phils. It's Vince Velasquez (2-2, 4.74) for the home side, and he's predictably fading to where his job is in jeopardy. Marlins on the runline.

ANALYSIS: The Hawks have fought hard in this series, but injuries are starting to catch up with them. Bogdan Bogdanovic hasn’t been productive as he battles through a knee injury, and now Trae Young is listed as questionable with a bone bruise in his right foot. He was limited after suffering the injury in Game 3, which resulted in the Bucks winning by 11. If Young isn’t effective in this contest, things could get out of hand in a hurry.

SAN DIEGO @ CINCINNATI | 06/29 | 7:10 PM EDT
CINCINNATI +1.5
ANALYSIS: The Padres are just 1-9 in their past 10 on the road and Tuesday's starter, lefty Blake Snell, is 0-3 with a 10.36 ERA away from Petco Park. The Reds are 18-5 in their last 23 home games with the total set at 9.0-10.5 (it's at 10 currently). Cincinnati will have revenge on the mind as it was swept four in San Diego earlier this month. Tony Santillan (1-1, 3.29) has been solid in his three big-league starts and significantly better in his two at home. Reds on runline at -120.

OVER 8.5
ANALYSIS: The Phillies are 11-0 OU (+4.73 rpg) off a road game in which their starter pitched three or fewer innings. The Marlins are 13-0 OU (+3.58 rpg) in the first game of a series with rest off a home game in which they allowed six or fewer hits and it is before the All-Star break.

UNDER 5
ANALYSIS: Still pretty irked that Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final went Over 5.5 goals with the Bolts winning 5-1 -- it was 2-1 through two periods and the sixth goal came with about 90 seconds left. Montreal netminder Carey Price will not be that shaky again. He hadn't allowed more than four goals in a game in these playoffs and last time Price did give up four, he didn't surrender more than two in five straight outings after. The Under is 7-1-2 in Tampa's past 10 after a win -- I actually dislike this total sitting right on five goals due to the very likely push factor, but I don't have the option of doing an alternate total of Under 5.5 goals via our picks yet (recommend you do).

N.Y. METS @ ATLANTA | 06/29 | 7:20 PM EDT
N.Y. METS +150
ANALYSIS: Braves pitcher Charlie Morton has been dominant for the month of June but also has seen a steep rise in his pitch count. Over his last two outings he has thrown 107 and 112 pitches, compared to an average of 83 pitches in his prior seven starts. Grab the value on the underdog Mets here as the Braves have averaged just 2.2 runs over their last 10 games.
TEXAS @ OAKLAND | 06/29 | 9:40 PM EDT
OAKLAND -180
ANALYSIS: The A's return home after a 10-game road trip. They’ll take on the Rangers, who split last week’s series with Oakland. The most shocking of the two A's losses came with Rangers starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz on the mound. Expect a much better outing from the A's bats especially after Monday’s off day. Grab Oakland.
MILWAUKEE @ ATLANTA | 06/29 | 8:30 PM EDT
MILWAUKEE -6.5
ANALYSIS: The Bucks have surged to a 2-1 series lead against the Hawks. Tuesday is an opportunity to make the defining statement in the series. Expect more of what we’ve seen the past two games from the Bucks as they cover their third in a row. A win for Milwaukee also gives the Bucks an opportunity to close out the Eastern Conference Finals on their home floor in Game 5. Grab Milwaukee.

Champ MLB system bet(s):
Reds is the new unofficial series starting at the {A} level. If the {A} bet fails to win, please automatically move on to the {B} bet by betting on them again the next time they play. Same for the final potential {C} bet if the {B} bet also fails. Remember:
Bet on the +1.5 run line if our team is an underdog on the money line, up to -110 odds.
Bet on the money line if our team is a favorite of at least -111.
New series always begin with {A} bets. This means that if the {A} bet loses, you should then double up on the {B} bet on the same exact team when they play the next time against the same opponent to recoup your {A} loss plus to make a profit. Same goes for the potential {C} bet if the {B} bet loses. There are no {D} bets even in 4-game series.
Sometimes, there may be doubleheaders. This means that if a bet loses and you are to go to the next higher-level bet, it could possibly happen later on the same day. Please check the team's schedule to make sure exactly when they're playing the next game.

L.A. ANGELS @ N.Y. YANKEES | 06/29 | 7:05 PM EDT
L.A. ANGELS +143
ANALYSIS: Jameson Taillon has been bad this season, although in nine starts at home he has been pretty good with a 3.04 ERA. However, in his three starts at home in June he allowed six earned runs in 16.1 IP. Andrew Heaney has been very good recently going 2-2 with a 3.75 ERA in June. He allowed five runs in 6 IP in his last start but he didn’t walk a better and struckout 10. The Yankees have just the 18th best wOBA in the league against lefties despite their righty heavy lineup. The Yankees have lost four straight games while the Angels have put together a couple wins of themselves. Take the value in the Angels.
ARIZONA @ ST. LOUIS | 06/29 | 8:15 PM EDT
ARIZONA +143
ANALYSIS: Caleb Smith has actually been one of the Diamondbacks best pitchers this season, and he has a 2.73 ERA in 26.1 IP since being inserted into the starting rotation. He has been having walk problems recently though, so if he struggles that will most likely be the reason why. The thing is, Carlos Martinez has been even worse for the Cardinals. He walked seven batters in his last start and he has walked 17 batters in 19.2 IP this month. That has led to 30 earned runs allowed in 19.2 IP in June, losing all five of those starts. The Dbacks are bad, especially on the road. But the Cards are playing just as bad right now, take the value on the Dbacks.
N.Y. METS @ ATLANTA | 06/29 | 7:20 PM EDT
ATLANTA -160
ANALYSIS: Charlie Morton has been much better recently going 3-1 with a 2.28 ERA in June to lower his ERA for the season down to 3.68. Tylor Megill is making his second career start, and in his first start he actually faced the Braves allowing two runs and two walks in 4.1 IP. The Mets are struggling scoring runs and they are much worse on the road at 16-23. The Mets score the fewest runs per game in the league so they need to prevent the Braves from scoring runs, and I just don’t see that happening with the Braves facing this rookie for the second time in a week.
