ANALYSIS: The White Sox are looking to take out some frustration after getting outscored 27-8 during a four-game sweep in Houston. This is the perfect spot to do it. They typically crush left-handed pitching. In addition, the Pirates are in turmoil after questionable moves by manager Derek Shelton. Look for Lucas Giolito (3-1, 2.70 ERA over his last six starts) to dominate, and play the White Sox minus 1.5 runs at -105.

ANALYSIS: Seattle is nothing special, but the M's are pretty solid at home and just swept four from the Rays there over the weekend. This is more about fading Colorado, though, as the Rox are a laughable 5-27 away. Lefty Kyle Freeland has a 9.58 ERA in his five starts. Mariners counterpart Chris Flexen (6-3, 4.12) has become fairly dependable and blanked the Twins over eight last time out. He has a 2.16 ERA at home.

ANALYSIS: Why on earth have the Giants opened as moneyline underdogs for this interleague matchup? Granted, the Angels are above .500 at home, but still. They are nowhere as good of a team overall. I'll jump on the runline value now on San Francisco -- which adds the DH. It could be the Halos rest Shohei Ohtani with him pitching Wednesday afternoon. They start inconsistent lefty Andrew Heaney (4-4, 4.45) in this one. The Giants counter with Anthony DeSclafani (7-2, 3.01). They have won seven straight following an off day.

Seattle is firing on all cylinders as it has won seven of its last eight contests after sweeping a four-game series against Tampa Bay over the weekend, knocking the Rays out of first place in the American League East in the process. The Rockies have lost four straight on the road, where they are a major league-worst 5-27 this year. Expect both teams' streaks to continue.

Facing Pittsburgh should be the perfect antidote for Chicago, which was the victim of a four-game sweep in Houston over the weekend. The White Sox scored a total of eight runs in the series but should have an easier time on Tuesday, as the Pirates possess a dismal 4.79 team ERA. Expect Chicago to end its slide and even its road record at 17-17.

ANALYSIS: There was some concern that perhaps Yanks ace Gerrit Cole wouldn't be quite as dominant now that MLB is cracking down on foreign substances used by pitchers, but other than one hiccup start about three weeks ago he has been fine. Cole (8-3, 2.31) is on extra rest -- and h as been even more dominant when so in 2021 -- and should dominate a struggling Royals lineup that is missing two key injured players in outfielder Andrew Benintendi and shortstop Adalberto Mondesi. No value on the Yankees on the ML at around -280 so runline it is at -135.

ANALYSIS: Been going back and forth on the lone matinee of Tuesday, and Zack Cimini has a good point in taking the Twins because the Reds might be running out of gas on a long road trip and a five-game skid. However, Reds pitcher Wade Miley is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA in four starts since returning from the injured list and Minnesota's lineup is without two of its best hitters in third baseman Josh Donaldson and outfielder Byron Buxton. The Twins are 2-9 in their past 11 at home vs. a lefty. To be safe, we'll take Cincinnati on the runline.
