We were very fortunate to win on Under 5.5 in Game 1 as Montreal somehow didn't let in the sixth goal of the game despite having pulled Carey Price from the net for more than four minutes of game time late in the Habs' 4-1 loss. I don't see Price allowing four again, and Vegas counterpart Marc-Andre Fleury isn't allowing more than two goals most likely.33

ANALYSIS: The Royals have now lost five straight games and nine of their last 10 games. Brady Singer has already faced the Tigers three times this season pitching two good games and one poor game. Singer has allowed at least a walk in eight straight outings and he has really been hit or miss. However, Tarik Skubal has sneakily been on fire after probably the worst start to the season of any starting pitcher. He has now pitched at least five innings in 7 straight starts and most notably he only allowed four earned runs in 11 IP in back to back starts against the lefty crushing White Sox. Look for the Tigers to ride Skubal to a series sweep.

ANALYSIS: This is mainly a play against the Reds bullpen with Heath Hembree pitching the last three days, Lucas Sims pitching two of the last three days and Tejay Antone on the IL. The Reds have the fifth worst bullpen in the league with these guys being available, so I think this game will be close enough for the Brewers to win it there. Both Tyler Mahle and Freddy Peralta have been very good this season and the Reds have won five in a row, but look for the Brewers to avoid the sweep at home.

Lucas Giolito has been up and down this year but he was very up in May going 4-2 with a 2.41 ERA. Both his previous starts were against the Tigers and he had some home run problems but I think he will settle down better at home against a team that hasn’t seen him this season. Take the White Sox to win the series at home.
