LAFC will be looking to extend their dominance over San Jose when they will host them on Wednesday. San Jose are coming off a very frustrating loss against the LA Galaxy and have now lost two in a row.
LAFC met a harsh 1-3 loss on the road against Seattle over the weekend and have now lost two in a row, are win-less in their last three and have won just one of their last five. However, LAFC had scored multiple goals in each of their five matches prior to their bad streak.
San Jose will be kicking themselves about how they lost their away match against the LA Galaxy, as they conceded two late goals to eventually lose by 2-3. They have now lost two in a row and have conceded multiple goals on six of their eight matches so far in the season. And in four of those they conceded three goals or more.
LAFC have dominated this match-up over the years, winning all five matches against San Jose. Moreover, they have scored at least two goals in all five matches and at least three goals in four of those. They have scored a total of 18 goals in that span, conceding just four in the process. Even without Carlos Vela, they have shown that they have a great roster and should be able to bounce back against a struggling San Jose defense.

The Heat closed as five-point underdogs for Game 1 and not only did they cover, but they won the game by nine. Jimmy Butler loves playing the underdog role, and the Heat have the talent to hang with the Bucks. Eric Bledsoe is dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss Game 1 and has him listed as questionable for Game 2. Even if he returns and the Bucks rebound for a win here, I think the Heat make it tough on them, so I’ll take the points.

Denver and Utah's Tuesday matchup might have been an extreme example, but scores tend to be low in Game 7s. Shooters tense up. Defenses go all out knowing there's no reason to save energy. Teams become so locked into their opponents' tendencies that running anything in the usual playbook becomes predictable. The past two games in this series came in Under this total, and with Russell Westbrook still nursing an injury this one will as well.

Milwaukee's Game 1 loss was predictable. Mike Budenholzer treated it like a regular-season game, as he tends to early in playoff series. But Giannis Antetokounmpo will take more than 12 shots in Game 2. He'll defend Miami's Jimmy Butler for stretches as well if it becomes necessary (expect more switches defensively at the very least). Milwaukee lost Game 1 of its second-round series a year ago as well. The Bucks ran Boston off of the floor in the next four games. This series should be more competitive, but the Bucks still have the advantage.

The Heat have several players who can beat opponents from beyond the arc. They make defending three-pointers very difficult for Milwaukee. The Heat can rebound as well, and their defensive pressure is also making it tougher for the Bucks to run their offense through Giannis Antetokounmpo. They held him to just 12 FG attempts in Game 1, his fewest since '18. The Heat are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings.
