American League
Astros (2-1) @ Rays
Verlander is 6-1, 1.83 in his last seven starts; he is 6-3, 2.87 in 10 starts at the Trop, and is 14-7, 3.05 in 26 playoff games (25 starts).

Bullpen game for Tampa Bay; hard to handicap bullpen games.

Take the Astros on the runline

Don't overthink this game. The Astros have won 107 games this year and have a dominant hitting lineup. Astros starter is in the conversation for the Cy Young again and pitched 7 innings in Game 1 allowing just 1 run. The Rays will have all hands on deck, as they must, but are going to be starting reliever Diego Castillo. Castillo has been good but he will only be able to give 3 innings at the most. The Rays don't really have many options available to them after Castillo. Eventually the Astros lineup will take its toll on a taxed Rays pitching staff. A good season for the Rays ends tonight as the Astros get the win by at least 2 runs.
