This is a Free NFLX play of Pittsburgh. Everybody loves the Chiefs, and most people are ready to give Patrick Mahomes the MVP Award before the season even starts. He was impressive in Week 1 of the pre-season, completing all four of his pass attempts for 66 yards. He will likely see limited snaps here in Pittsburgh in Week 2, as historically Andy Reid has a pretty conservative approach to the pre-season. Mike Tomlin and the Steelers have won seven of their last nine pre-season games, and they appear to be in good shape at QB with Mason Rudolph and Josh Dobbs. The Steelers offense put 30 points on the board in Week 1, without most of the starters seeing any time. I like Pittsburgh to put on a show here at home in Week 2. Take PIT. GL,

Detroit looked bad in Week 1, falling 31-3 at home to the Patriots’ backups and wannabe’s. The Lions were led by David Fales, who was 5 of 14 for 62 yards and a pick. The Texans enter off a two-point loss to Green Bay. QB Joe Webb III was 25 of 40 for 286 yards and a TD, but he also had two INT’s. Webb looked great rushing, running six times for 47 yards.
Key Trends:
- Note that the under is 4-1 in Detroit’s last five away from friendly confines.
- Also note that Houston has played to four straight unders at home.
The verdict: The Lions get a home game in Week 3 and I believe they will simply go through the motions this week. With Houston not expected to give its starters much playing time either, I believe that the writing is on the wall and a lower-scoring “under” is in the cards in this one. How about you?! Defensive affair, or high-scoring shootout?!

I'll take my chances here with Chicago finding a way to get a win on Saturday and put an end to their 4-game losing streak. Cubs got dealt another massive punch to the gut on Friday. For the second time in as many nights, Chicago couldn't protect a lead in the 9th. While not as painful as Thursday's defeat at Philadelphia, last night's definitely stung. Given the road woes and the struggles of today's starter Jon Lester, some might be looking to fade the Cubs in this spot. I just think Lester is going to step up after looking a lot better in his last start at Cincinnati. I also think the Cubs offense shows up against Pittsburgh's Steven Brault, who has a 5.79 ERA and 1.857 WHIP in 3 career starts against Chicago. Cubs are 18-4 in Lester's last 22 start vs a team with a losing record. Give me Chicago -141!

I just think there's too much value with the Browns catching a field goal against the Colts. Not sure why Indy is getting so much love this preseason. They were a 1.5-point road favorite last week in Buffalo. A game they ended up only losing by a final of 24-16, but the Bills led 17-3 in going into the 4th quarter.
With Andrew Luck out, the Colts us a QB rotation of Jacoby Brissett, Phillip Walker and Chad Kelly. Brissett was a mere 2-5 for 21 yards in 3 series last week. People focus a lot on Cleveland's offense, but they should have a pretty good stop unit and they held Washington to just 10 points and 271 yards (forced 4 turnovers) in Week 1 action.
These two teams have been running joint practices and Colts head coach Frank Reich has voiced his concern with how Indy's offensive line has struggled to block the Browns defensive front. Cleveland put 30 points and more than 400 yards on the board in their first preseason game. I just don't see the Colts being able to score enough to win. Take Cleveland!
