The Indians have won eight of 10 as they hand the ball to Zach Plesac, who's been outstanding in three of his past four starts. Boston has lost eight straight to winning teams, and AL Central-leading Cleveland certainly qualifies at 71-47. Boston is 5-13 in its last 18 games at Progressive Field. Eduardo Rodriguez is struggling with his control and I don't think he'll shut down an Indians club that's plated 26 runs over its last five games. Back the home dog.

Rockies starter Peter Lambert has unsightly numbers, but he's actually been solid in four of his past six starts. The two ugly starts came against Houston, and Arizona's offense does not resemble the Astros' attack. Back the Rockies to beat Arizona for the sixth straight time at Coors Field.

I like Pirates rookie Mitch Keller to complete his second consistent start of the season. With only three outings under his belt, Keller looks to build off an impressive showing versus the Tigers in late June. Due to the eight-game losing skid, I have the Pirates very undervalued here. They are plus-money against another rookie in Jose Suarez, who is coming off of two straight brutal starts, giving up a combined 10 runs in only nine innings. The underdog is the play Monday.

The Blue Jays could be in for a bit of a down spot Monday following a strong series against the Yankees in which they won two of four and came just short of a series win because of a 1-0 loss Sunday. This is still a team that is 23 games below .500 facing a Rangers club that is still clinging to wild-card contention. Neither pitcher inspires fear, but Rangers starter Ariel Jurado is a respectable 4-3 with a 4.10 ERA on the road. Toronto's Neil Ramirez has a 10.80 lifetime ERA against the Rangers.

This almost seems too easy....and my cap is extensive. I don't have time to get it all down in here in a responsible amount of time so I apologize but
1) no Soto
2) Fedde is certainly not ready for Aquino et al
3) Disco has punished the Nats lineup for a 2.21 FIP, .247 wOBA, and even lower .231 xwOBA
4) Fedde barely Ks more batters than he even walks...trouble when facing the more patient than most Reds...and has an over all xFIP of an entire point higher than his ERA....a play ON factor anyway....aside from all else we have here.
I would not be surprised if the Nats ran Fedde by the 4th and make for a long night for the home team in the nation's capital!
