I say, good luck with that! I am not saying Golden State won't have a better game Sunday. I am also not saying the Raptors are going to win this game. The point I am making here is that Toronto is going to be very tough to slow down. They are riding the wave of emotion of the big win in Game 1 of these NBA Finals and the Raptors will again have the edge of home court spurring them on and helping to keep that emotion at a high level. In my mind, that helps keep this game at a high pace throughout. Also, Green and Iguodala will have better shooting games here. Don't be surprised if Leonard and Lowry also have better shooting games as they were both subpar in Game 2. Keep in mind the Raptors scored 118 points even with those guys not shooting well. The over is 11-6 in Golden State's playoff games this post-season. The Raptors, when on a winning streak of 3 or more games this season, has seen the over go 19-11-1. The San Francisco Giants recorded an 8-2 triumph over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. I think we'll see way less action over home plate here in the rubber match of this three-game set.
Gabriel Ynoa (0-1, 5.40 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Orioles for his second start of the season. Ynoa held the Tigers to a pair of runs with four Ks over four innings of a 5-3 Orioles win last time out. Under is 4-1 in Ynoa's last 5 starts overall and 18-7-2 in Giants last 27 interleague road games vs. a right-handed starter.
Jeff Samardzija (2-4, 3.83 ERA) will take the ball for the Giants. He was roughed up plenty during the month of May but should be able to hold his own against a Baltimore team that averages just 4.09 runs per game on the season. We can also note that the Giants are even worse, averaging just 3.79 rpg.
Under is 7-1-1 in Orioles last 9 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Under is 8-2-1 in Giants last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.

Sunday's comp play winner will be the Yankees to get out the broom in the Bronx and sweep away their arch-rivals the Red Sox this evening on ESPN.
New York made it 4 wins in as many games with last night's 5-3 win over Boston which was punctuated by a tie-breaking 2 run home run by Gary Sanchez. The Yankees are now up by a whopping 9 1/2 games over the Sox, as Aaron Boone's team has gone 15-3 their last 18 games this year, and are on an overall 32-10 run their last 42 games played.
Boston has now drifted back to the break-even mark of 29-29, as they have lost 4 in a row now, and 6 of their last 8 overall as they look to salvage this contest tonight at Yankee Stadium.
A pair of southpaws will take to the hill, as David Price goes against CC Sabathia. Price has not allowed an earned run in any of his last 3 starts since a stay on the disabled list, but I will be curious to see how he fares in this spot, as the Yankees saddled him with an 0-3 mark in his 4 starts against them last year with an ERA of 10.34. A pair of those losses did come at Yankee Stadium.
Sabathia will be making his first start since May 22nd, as CC's balky knee continues to give him issues. Last year he was 1-0 during the regular season in 3 starts against the Sox with an ERA of 4.50, but did lose his postseason start to Boston in the Red Sox series win in Game Four of their five game set.
I would not count on either starter being too successful tonight against the opposing attacks, but right now this New York lineup is lethal, so I say back the Yankees to get out the broom and make it a perfect 5-0 in the season series over the Red Sox.

Comp play for Sunday on the Over in Game Two of the NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Raptors.
I think it is a given that the Raptors are not going to shoot over 50% from the floor in this game, and I also think it is a given that the Warriors are not going to turn the ball over another 17 times. Having said that, I still see the points tonight adding up to an Over before the series shifts to Oakland for the next pair of games.
Game One played some 15 points Over the posted total, as these teams have now landed Over the total in both meetings this season in Toronto, and in 7 of the last 9 overall series meetings.
The Warriors have played their last pair this postseason Over the total. They have also tallied Overs in 4 of their last 6 in this year's playoffs, and are on an overall 10-5-1 Over clip through their last 16 here in the playoffs.
The Raptors have not been as prolific with their playoff Overs, but 4 of their last 6 here in the postseason have landed in the Over column, as have 6 of their last 10 overall.
I don't see the teams shattering this total like they did on Thursday, but I do see another Over in Game Two.

The overall numbers aren't great for Phillies starter Nick Pivetta, but they just keep finding ways to win with him on the mound. Philadelphia has won 4 of Pivetta's 5 starts in 2019. Rich Hill will take the mound for the Dodgers. While he's been great here of late, he did throw a season-high in pitches last time out and owns a very mediocre 4.83 ERA and 1.567 WHIP in 4 career starts against the Phillies. Take Philadelphia!

Th e Marlins won last night but the Padres will bounce back today. Though this is a later start, its still technically a "day" game on the West Coast. Thats noteworthy as the Marlins are 5-12 (-3.8) in day games while the Padres are 14-8 (+7.5). While Strahm's numbers are better than Richards' numbers, the Padres also have a significant edge in terms of bullpen statistics. Of course, San Diego is also the much better hitting team. It all adds up to a win for the home team. Consider laying the wood with San Diego.

My free winner for Sunday is on the Chicago White Sox over the Cleveland Indians, and I want you listing the scheduled starting pitchers: Lucas Giolito and Zach Plesac.
The White Sox hand the ball to Giolito, who is an impressive 7-1 on the year with a stingy 2.85 ERA. His last time out he struggled through a three-run first inning against the Kansas City Royals, but responded with brilliance over the next seven frames while earning his fifth straight win. He matched a career high with 10 strikeouts, and now has 69 on the year.
Now he catches the Tribe, who is 8-12 against intradivision foes, and is just 4-6 over its last 10 with a .240 batting average while being outscored by 18 runs.
He should get plenty of run support as Chicago's hitters face an Indians staff that has a 5.59 ERA in those same 10 games. The White Sox are now 15-13 against division foes, and have won 6 of 10 behind a resurgent offense that will chase Plesac early.
The young right-hander will make his second career start after an impressive Major League debut that saw him hold the Boston Red Sox to one run over 5 1/3 innings last Tuesday.

My free play for tonight is on the Angels, who are in from Anaheim to face the Seattle Mariners. And in this game, be sure you're listing the pitchers: Jose Suarez and Marco Gonzales.
Suarez is the Angels' No. 2 prospect, and has been promoted from Triple-A Salt Lake to make his Major League debut. The 21-year-old left-hander from Venezuela turned in a 3.91 ERA in 23 innings in Salt Lake. He's overcome shoulder stiffness to produce a solid campaign outside of one rough outing.
Tonight he'll look to make a splash in his debut.
The runs should be there to support, as Gonzales has been terrible lately. Since going 5-0 with a 2.80 ERA in his first seven starts, Seattle's normally reliable lefty went 0-5 with a 5.86 in six May outings.
