Cubs vs. Cardinals
10* FREE MLB PICK (Cardinals -133)
I'll take my chances with the Cardinals beating the Cubs at home on Saturday. St Louis is coming off back-to-back wins and will have Jack Flaherty on the mound. Flaherty has been outstanding at home with a 2.06 ERA and 0.857 WHIP in 6 starts. He'll be up against the struggling Jose Quintana of the Cubs. Quintana has a 6.10 ERA and 1.403 WHIP in 4 road starts and is coming off an outing against the Reds where he gave up 6 runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings. Give me St Louis -133!

Angels vs. Mariners
1* Free MLB Pick on Los Angeles Angels -114
This is just too good a price to pass up on the Angels in Saturday's game at Seattle. While the Mariners won 4-3 on Friday, they finished up the month of May at 7-21 and are just 2-9 in their last 11 overall. Not to mention Seattle managed just 5 hits in the win, as the offense continues to struggle to live up to anything close to what we saw to start the season.
Angels have been playing well. Despite the loss they are 5-2 in their last 7 and are a team I think could show some decent value going forward. Ohtani and Trout hit back-to-back homers on Friday and if they get those two going at the same time, this team is going to keep winning at this rate.
Andrew Heaney will be on the mound and he's another guy that can help them get going. Heaney made his 2019 debut last Sunday. He gave up just 2 runs on 4 hits with 7 K's in 5 2/3 innings of work. No reason not to think he won't have a strong showing here. Take Los Angeles!

Tonight my free play is on the Milwaukee Brewers Run Line against the Bucs.
This one won't even be close, as the pitching mismatch is in place, and the Brewers' offense is going off tonight.
MAKE NOTE: All Run Line/Total plays automatically list pitchers with the starters who are scheduled to go at the time of the wager, and I want you to be sure the following pitchers are the starters of record on your ticket when making your play: Brandon Woodruff and Nick Kingham. If one or both of these pitchers is not going, this is a no-play.
Woodruff is 7-1 with a 3.22 ERA and steps to the hills after a dominant outing versus National League East-leading Philadelphia. The right-hander allowed just one hit - a solo home run by Andrew Knapp - over eight innings while twirling a season-high 10 strikeouts. Woodruff hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of his past six starts, and will gladly back him against a Pirates lineup that might be hitting .305 in its last 10 games, but has been outscored by 14 runs.
Milwaukee's offense, which has a team on-base percentage of .324 that ranks second in the National League, will victimize Kingham, who is 1-1 with a sky-high 8.28 ERA this season. The right-hander is lucky to still be in the rotation after a shaky performance in Cincinnati. Kingham worked four scoreless innings, then turned around and gave up three runs and couldn't get out of the fifth.
Take the Brewers, as they run it up against Kingham and the Bucs.
5* BREWERS RUN LINE (Woodruff over Kingham)

My free winner for tonight is on the New York Yankees over the Boston Red Sox, and I want you listing the scheduled starting pitchers: Domingo German and Rick Porcello.
Baseball's best rivalry will be highlighted by a pitching showdown, but it will be the hometown starter who will be at his best.
The Yankees will attack Porcello quick and often, even though he has been Boston's most consistent pitcher in recent weeks. Sure, the right-hander is 4-1 with a 2.94 ERA in his last eight starts, but he faces a Yankees team that ranks eighth in the league with a .258 batting average and that is 17-4 against the rest of the American League East.
The Yankees are on an 8-2 run thanks to an offense that is hitting .277 in that span, and has outscored opponents by 26 runs. Led by Gary Sanchez's 17 bombs, New York has hit 91 home runs this season, good for seventh in the league.
Since Porcello is just 10-8 against New York in his career, I think he'll see trouble in this one. And once he's gone, the bullpen won't be any better. The Red Sox are mired in a 4-6 slide, during which the pitching staff has a 5.20 ERA.
Take the pinstripes here.
1* YANKEES (German and Porcello)

On the heels of a total winner last night, with the Toronto Blue Jays and Colorado Rockies scoring 18 runs, my free winner for tonight is on the Interleague tussle between the San Francisco Giants and Baltimore Orioles going over the posted number.
IMPORTANT: As you know every single Run Line play and Total wager will automatically list the scheduled starting pitchers at the time of the wager, and I want you to be sure the following pitchers are the registered starters on your ticket when making your wager: Shaun Anderson and David Hess. If one or both of these pitchers is not going, this is a no-play.
Anderson is still in search of his first Major League win in just his fourth start. I know the young right-hander has gone five innings in each of his outings, but the rookie just gave up six runs (four of them earned) on nine hits last Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He meets a Baltimore team that broke out offensively last night in a 9-6 win and could see an early exit when the Orioles carry over momentum to this game.,
The Orioles will need offense, too, since they're handing the ball to Hess, who leads the Majors in home runs allowed. The struggling right-hander is 1-6 with a 6.71 ERA overall, and will be facing an angry, revenge-minded lineup.
This one goes high.
4* OVER Orioles-Giants (Anderson-Hess)

Event: (979) Toronto Blue Jays at (980) Colorado Rockies
Sport/League: MLB
Date/Time: June 1, 2019 9PM EDT
Play: Toronto Blue Jays +138
We are getting a real nice price here backing the underdog Blue Jays as at the time of this writing the Blue Jays are a plus 138 underdog. The starting pitchers for tonight’s game are for the Blue Jays RH Marcus Stroman (3-6, 2.74 ERA) vs. Rockies RH Jon Gray (4-4, 4.52 ERA) Stroman has never faced the Rockies in his career and we like the fact that the 28yr old veteran can take advantage in this spot. He has been pitching really well of late sporting a 1.59 ERA in his last 3 starts. As for Gray there is a little concern that he will not be a 100% for this start as he left his last start with an injury. Gray has not pitched well of late sporting a 5.29 ERA in his last 3 starts. At the end of the day, we will always take HUGE plus money on a live underdog and that’s what we have here tonight. So lets get the job done with the Toronto Blue jays as your free play for today.
