#903 4* Washington Nationals with Corbin ML -125 (7:10 edt)
Have to LOVE The Nationals here at this low of a favorite price since Corbin has been excellent this season with an ERA of 2.85 and a WHIP of just 1.03. Way better than Mahle who is at 4.15 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. The Nats are not super strong on the road but the Reds are terrible at home. Washington is playing very well lately and they have the better offensive numbers. Play the Nationals here. Thank you and good luck.

TORONTO @ COLORADO | 5/31 | 8:40 PM EDT
This is a big price to pay for a team, but all signs point to the Rockies here. Offensively it's no contest, especially in Denver where the Rocks are averaging 6.2 runs per game. The offense has actually gotten better lately, too, averaging 6.8 runs in the last month and 6.9 in the last week with a .969 OPS. They're averaging literally double the amount of runs per game that the Blue Jays are in the last month. Colorado throws ace German Marquez, while Toronto's Edwin Jackson has allowed 16 runs in 14 innings this year.

MILWAUKEE @ PITTSBURGH | 5/31 | 7:05 PM EDT
Neither Jhoulys Chacin nor Chris Archer are going to scare opposing lineups Friday. But Milwaukee's bats are far better -- they have been lately and they have been all season. The Brewers' bullpen is also superior, as long as the Pirates don't have the lead in the ninth. Pittsburgh has been one of the poorer home teams in the league.

L.A. ANGELS -120
L.A. ANGELS @ SEATTLE | 5/31 | 10:10 PM EDT
Mike Leake has lost his form -- he's 1-6 with a 5.40 ERA his last nine starts. He faces an Angels team that ranks No. 1 in MLB in hitting against right-handed pitching. Meanwhile, the Mariners' offense isn't the force it was back in April, and the Angels have flipped the switch since a horrible start. Tyler Skaggs has been a mess on the road, but I think L.A. scores enough runs to make up for it.

KANSAS CITY @ TEXAS | 5/31 | 8:05 PM EDT
The Rangers can hit the ball well, but their impressive overall numbers are thrown out the window when they face a southpaw. Across the board, Texas is worse against lefties, and Friday they face a good one in Jacob Junis, who is 2-0 with a 2.13 ERA on the road. Texas goes with a spot starter who's been effective enough, but the Rangers' bullpen has an average-allowed that ranks 29th out of 30. It's worth a flyer on the road dog.

DETROIT @ ATLANTA | 5/31 | 7:20 PM EDT
Mike Folynewicz has miserable stats, but his last two starts he's seemingly turned it around, allowing two earned runs over 12 innings. He faces a Tigers team that's averaging 3.3 runs over the last month and hits .223 off right-handed pitching. Atlanta's offense is in its own funk, but nothing of that level. Spencer Turnbull has had his moments, but the Tigers' bats and bullpen have not supported him. I'll take the Braves at home.

BOSTON @ N.Y. YANKEES | 5/31 | 7:05 PM EDT
Chris Sale is back to being Chris Sale after a brutal first month of the season. Facing a depleted Yankees squad that has struggled against left-handed pitching is a good spot. He sports a 1.93 ERA in 20 appearances against the pinstripes over his career. J.A. Happ has had just one quality start in five starts in May with a 5.61 ERA, and a 5.93 ERA at home. Boston's offense has averaged 6.5 runs in May.

Chris Sale has turned it around since his brutal start to the season pitching five quality starts in his last six outings and a 2.23 ERA in May. In 20 appearances against the Yankees, he is 7-5 with a 1.93 ERA. JA Happ is 4-3 with a 5.09 ERA including a 6.1 IP three earned run performance in his start against the Red Sox this season. The Yankees are in the bottom third of the league in scoring runs against lefties while the Red Sox are in the top third. Take the Red Sox on the road.

Drew Pomeranz has been bad this season with a 1-5 record and 6.45 ERA including a 14.0 ERA in May. Andrew Cashner is 5-2 with a 4.55 ERA this season. The Orioles are in the top half of the league at scoring runs against lefties, and the Giants are the second worst team at scoring runs against righties. Fade Pomeranz and this Giants lineup.

Patrick Corbin is coming off a complete game shutout sporting a 5-2 record with a 2.85 ERA. Tyler Mahle is coming off a six earned run performance and sporting a 1-5 record with a 4.15 ERA. The Reds are 21st in the league at scoring runs against lefties. The Nats are 7-4 when Corbin starts while the Reds are 2-8 when Mahle starts. Take the Nats to win three in a row for the first time this season.

After a tough start to the season following an injury, Mike Foltynewicz is starting to shed a little rust. He threw six innings only giving up one unearned run last outing and a quality start the outing before that. Spencer Turnbull is coming off the bereavement list to make this start, he gave up a season-high four runs in his last outing. The Braves offense has been much better than the Tigers offense and the Tigers are losing their DH. I like the Braves at home.

Yesterday, my Pythagorean Betting System picked out the heavy +157 underdogs Kansas City Royals
to go on the road and beat the Rangers. As it turned out, the Royals killed the Rangers 4-2, even has big underdogs on the road!
today's pick from the Exterminator Betting System. This is not a Pythagorean series:
Cardinals {A} Bet on the Money Line - This is a confirmed official betting series. If the Cardinals loses the {A} game, then please automatically bet on them again the next day for the {B} bet to recoup your {A} loss, plus to make your desired profit for the series. The same applies to the potential {C} game on the day after if for any reason they lose the {B} game as well.
=====================
Below is today's Pythagorean series pick:
[MLB] 1* Star Betting Series: Arizona Diamondback (3-game series). Start with the {A} bet today. If they do not win today, please automatically move on to the {B} bet on Arizona again tomorrow. The same as applies for the potential {C} bet. Whenever Arizona win, then the series is over and we record it as a win
All Pythagorean bets are always on the money line.

Mike Fiers was amazing when he threw his no-hitter three weeks ago, but the other outings? The A's have won only three of his last eight starts. One of the losses he got chased in the second inning by Houston, allowing six runs. The Astros have won seven of Brad Peacock's nine starts, and no one has been better than he has over his last four, allowing only one run combined -- all Houston wins. I'm on the Astros to win.

I don't like betting against teams on a six-game win streak as the Rays are, but the Twins haven't lost two straight since May 13, a span of 15 games that they went 12-3. I also don't often get the chance to roll with Jose Berrios as an underdog. He's been an underdog just once all season. Most importantly, the Twins just win behind him going 9-2. I'm on the Twins.

The Yankees have won four straight games behind J.A. Happ, one of which they still won when he gave up six runs at Baltimore. After starting 6-9, the Yankees have won eight straight series and 40 of their last 50 games, a run that started winning a two-game series at Yankee Stadium against the Red Sox. One of those was an 8-0 win against Chris Sale. Yankees are the play.

Royals +105 over Rangers
Duffy/Jurado
The Rangers are a pretty good home team while the Royals are not very good on the road. You would think this line would be higher, but Kansas City has the pitching advantage tonight with Duffy on the mound. Texas has struggled against left handers and they have struggle in general over the past few games. The Rangers Bullpen is below average as well. Look for Kansas City to string together back to back road victories against an offense that is struggling. Take the Rangers.
