The Bruins have been impressive with a 40-20 record in the second half of the season and playoffs. However, the Blues have been every bit as hot (42-22) as the Bruins in the second half. They're 4-1 their past five; the lone loss came by a single goal. While both teams have had an extended break, St. Louis has had a reasonable amount of time off while Boston has had "too much" time off. Indeed, the Bruins haven't played since May 16th! That said, I'll note that the Bruins are just 1-6 the past seven times that they played with three or more day's rest. The last meeting was decided by a single goal, a 2-1 win for the Blues. I see another close one. While I'm comfortable laying the extra juice for the valuable +1.5 goals, I also like St. Louis' chances of winning this one outright. Consider the Blues.

Cole has great numbers at home this season but keep in mind he just allowed 6 earned runs in 5 innings in his most recent start (against the White Sox) and that was right here at Minute Maid Park. The over is 4-1 in Cole's home starts this season. The over is also 4-1 in Hamels' road starts this season. Both the Detroit Tigers and the Baltimore Orioles have won more games on the road than at home this season, and I think the visitors are worth a look here at Camden Yards Monday afternoon.
The Orioles are a pathetic 6-19 in front of the home town crowd and right-hander Gabriel Ynoa (0-1, 5.60 ERA) will be making his first start this season. He has been tagged with 10 earned runs through his last 6 1/3 innings of work out of the bullpen. The Tigers hand the ball to left-hander Daniel Norris (2-2, 4.30 ERA) who limited Miami to a pair of runs over six frames last time out. Norris has compiled a respectable 3.32 ERA in five appearances (three starts) covering 21 2/3 innings of work away from home this season.
The Orioles are 3-13 in their last 16 games vs. a left-handed starter and 8-45 in their last 53 openers of a series.

I got no problem backing the Dodgers at home on Monday with ace Clayton Kershaw on the mound. Kershaw might not be throwing at the level he was a few years back, but the guy is 4-0 with a strong 3.33 ERA and 0.978 WHIP in 7 starts. Dodgers are a perfect 7-0 on the money line in those starts and I see no reason why they don't make it 8-0.
Mets will have reigning Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom on the mound, but he's just 3-5 with a 3.72 ERA in 10 starts. New York is a miserable 7-15 in deGrom's last 22 starts vs a team with a winning record and he's facing the best team in the NL on Monday.Mets as a team are just 5-16 in their last 21 on the road.
