Kyle Gibson (4-1, 4.26 ERA) gets the nod for the Twins and he will be opposed by Yusei Kikuchi (2-1, 3.64) of the Mariners.
Minnesota has now won five in a row after last night’s 18-4 demolition of the M’s.
I think the home side bounces back and atones for that pathetic effort though and I believe that Minnesota finally has a letdown here after winning the first three games of this series handily.
Gibson has had decent success vs. Seattle throughout his career, but note that he’s still only 23-29 with a 4.59 GAA in all “day” games.
The Mariners have been a disappointment after a blazing 13-2 start to the 2019 campaign, but they still come into this one ranked fifth in the league in scoring with 5.26 RPG.
Note that Kikuchi is 0-1 with a 3.79 ERA at home thus far.
I simply feel that Minnesota runs out of gas and I think the “hungrier” home side will take advantage. Consider Seattle on Sunday afternoon.

I think we’re getting the Padres cheap tonight a home against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Padres are coming off back-to-back losses to the Pirates and need a win here in Game 4 to square the series.
I think the Padres will get the win behind Cal Quantrill, who is 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA in his two starts this season. Look for him to shut down a Pirates lineup that is hitting .240 and scoring 3.7 runs per game.
The Padres are in good shape here against Joe Musgrove, who is 2-4 with a 4.14 ERA in his eight starts this season. Musgrove is really struggling of late with a 0.23 ERA and 1.736 WHIP in his last three starts.
San Diego is 9-2 when the total is 8 to 8.5 this season. The Padres are 12-4 in day games this season. The Pirates are 2-8 in Musgrove’s last 10 road starts. The Padres are 6-0 in their last six after scoring two runs or less in their previous game. Bet the Padres Sunday.

Sunday's comp play will be to look for Toronto to come up with a do-or-die defensive effort that slows Milwaukee's high-scoring attack just enough to keep this Game Three at Scotiabank Arena Under the posted total.
Prior to Friday's Over, the Bucks had played each of their last 3 in the playoffs Under the total. As for the Raptors, prior to that Over on Friday, Toronto had played their last pair and 6 of their last 8 Under the posted total. Toronto has still held opponents under 100 total points in 9 of their 14 postseason games played this playoff season. True, they have not been able to keep the Bucks under the century mark yet, and likely will not do so in this Game Three, but if they wish to avoid the insurmountable 0-3 hole, they better damn well find a way to keep Milwaukee from going off for much more than 105 points in this one.
Toronto has done a good job of bouncing-back from double-digit losses on the defensive end, as they are 5-0-1 Under the total in their last 6 games when playing off a 10-points or more setback the game prior.
The Raptors to come up with their best defensive effort of this series, as they keep the Bucks in semi-check, and we hold Under for Sunday in Game Three.

Sunday comp play in baseball on the Under in the Tampa Bay-New York Yankees series finale.
Both Friday's game, and yesterday's 11-inning game have held Under the posted total, and I see no reason not to back the Under once again in today's rubber game.
It will be Charlie Morton starting for the Rays, while Chad Green will get the very rare spot start out of the bullpen for the Yankees.
Morton has been a solid addition to this Tampa Bay pitching staff, as he comes into this start at 4-0 of the season with an ERA of 2.32. Each of his last 4 starts for the Rays have all held Under the total, as have 6 of his 9 overall starts. Morton's road ERA is a tiny 1.27 for his 28-plus innings pitched.
Chad Green normally works out of the bullpen for Aaron Boone, but today he will make a rare spot start, His last pair of appearances have both come against the Rays, totaling 2 innings with 2 runs - 1 of them earned - crossing the plate. Do not expect him to work much more than 2 or 3 innings this afternoon before the bullpen swings into action for the Yanks.
Tampa has held Under in each of their last 4, and are 5-2-1 Under in their last 8 games played. Meanwhile, New York has also landed Under in each of their last 4 games, and are 5-2-1 Under the total for their last 8 as well.

They're going for the sweep of this three-game series Sunday afternoon, and I think the home team prove well worth the money with its ace on the mound.

My free play is on the Houston Astros against the Boston Red Sox, as the two American League powerhouses finish up in Beantown. And it's the Astros looking to complete the sweep.
And in this one, I'm listing starting pitchers Wade Miley over Chris Sale.
Miley steps to the hill after his streak of 23 starts allowing three runs or fewer was snapped on Tuesday in Detroit, where he allowed four runs. But he's still one of their more consistent hurlers, and the Astros have won each of Miley's last five starts. The left-hander is 3-0 with a 3.64 ERA in those games, and now has a chance to shut down the defending champs on their own field, something that is always motivating.
Houston's dangerous lineup gets its crack at Sale, who may be coming off one of his best career performances, after striking out a career-high 17 batters in seven innings against the Rockies, but still took the no-decision. I know Sale is 5-2 with a 1.83 ERA in seven career starts against Houston, but he is 1-5 with a 4.24 ERA this season.
Now he is facing a team that is hitting .311 during a 10-game win streak and that has outscored teams by 55 runs in that span. Now he's facing a team that boasts the dangerous bats of George Springer, Aledmys Diaz and Michael Brantley, who leads the team with a mark of .331. Springer leads the Astros with 27 extra base hits and is batting .318, whie Diaz is 9-for-25 with a double, three home runs and 11 RBIs over the last 10 games for Houston.
