The NHL Comp Play is on the Over in the Carolina at Boston game at 3:05 eastern. These two play up tempo and have played over in 7 of the last 8 in the series, including 4 straight here in Boston with every game netting at least 7 goals. The Bruins have gone over in 4 straight as a playoff favorite of -150 or higher. Carolina has payed over in 4 of 5 after scoring 2 or less, 6 of 8 on the road 5 of 7 as an under dog and 4 of 5 off a loss by 3 or more goals. Look for this one to play over the total.

76ers vs. Raptors
Raptors-6 -105
While I won with Philly last game, I like the Raptors to bounce back today. Note that the 76ers are 0-4 SU/ATS when off a double-digit win as an underdog, 8-18 ATS when off a double-digit win overall. Meanwhile, the Raptors are 7-2-1 ATS (9-1 SU) the past 10 times that they were off a double-digit loss. Homecourt has been important and I expect it to be critical today. The 76ers are 23-23 on the road, the Raptors are 36-11 at home. Consider laying the points.

Give Philadelphia credit for summoning an inspired effort on Thursday night in their 112-101 elimination game win, but with all due respect, that win occurred in front of their home crowd. Tonight's deciding game will not be contested in the City of Brotherly Love, but instead in front of the Raptors crowd, and the 76ers track record when playing North of the Border is not on that instills confidence in backing the Sixers - even plus the points.
Yes, Philly was able to come through with a Game Two win on Toronto's court, but they had lost the 14 games previously in the TO, and they followed with a listless Game Five clunker that saw them get smashed by 26 points.
A lot of tonight's outcome is going to hinge on the play of Joel Embiid who was "healthy" enough to contribute 17 points and 12 assists in the "stay alive" victory. A close eye must also be kept on Ben Simmons who attacked the rim and was able to come through with 21, 8 and 6. It should be noted that the 6 assists came with NO turnovers in his 34 minutes played. Will the duo be able to pull that feat off again away from home?
As for the Raptors, I am a believer that their 14 missed three-pointers of the 17 they took in the first half was largely attributed to them shooting on the road. At home I will look for Toronto to get a bounce-back effort, as Lowry, Green and Gasol do their parts to help Kawhi Leonard power past this Philadelphia team when it is all said and done.
Since Philly has not been able to do much of anything on Toronto's floor over the years, I will side with Toronto to live up to their # 2 seed and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with the win and the cover in Game Seven.
3* TORONTO

Comp play for this Sunday will be to look for this 7th and final game of the Western Conference semifinals between Portland and Denver to land Over the posted total.
This series opened at the Pepsi Center on April 29th with an Over in Denver's 121-113 win and cover. The teams followed in Game Two with a game that landed well Under the total, but that Under stands as the lone Under between the teams in the 6 games played in this postseason series, and also as the lone Under in the last 10 series meetings between the teams!
In fact, the Over stands at 19-7 the past 26 times the Blazers and the Nuggets have jumped ball against one another, and I will back the Over to be the way to go in this deciding contest on Sunday afternoon.
The Trail Blazers have played 7 of their last 9 this postseason Over the total, and dating back to the regular season, the Over is on an 11-6 run their last 17 games contested.
The Nuggets have played Over the total in 9 of their last 12 this postseason, and going back to their regular season games, Denver is on a 12-5 Over run in their last 17 games played.
Based on those Over trends, no sense in playing the contrarian today, just play the Over and watch as Portland and Denver ring up the points.
Portland-Denver Over in Game Seven.

Yankees+155
My 1* Free Play is on the New York Yankees (1:10 EST).
Tampa is 9-1-2 in series this year, including 5-1 in home series. The Yanks will look to end that streak tonight.
Note that before yesterday’s 7-2 win, Tampa had lost two consecutive one-run contests, going only 2 for 24 with runners in scoring position. Also note that Tampa has gotten some recent bad news, in that catcher Mike Zunino was lost for a month on Friday with a quad injury. Also ace Tyler Glasnow is now out with injury.
New York hasn’t dropped a series since losing two of three to the White Sox in mid April.
Tampa starter Blake Snell (3-3, 3.62 ERA) is also only 3-4 with a 4.37 ERA in 11 career starts vs. New York.
The visitors counter with Masahiro Tanaka (2-3, 3.77) who has struggled a bit of late, but who has to be feeling confident here as he’s 8-4 with a 3.72 ERA in 14 career match-ups vs. the Rays.
I like New York to end Tampa’s run of series dominance, as I expect Tanaka to outlast his counterpart. Consider the underdog Yankees on Sunday afternoon.
Good luck…Larry

10* FREE MLB PICK (Minnesota Twins -1.5, +105)
I'll take my chances here with the Twins winning by at least two runs on Sunday. Minnesota has without a doubt been the biggest surprise so far. Twins have the best record in baseball going into today. A big reason for that is their offense, which ranks 6th in runs scored. That offense should be able to put up a number here. Detroit will send out Daniel Norris, who has a 4.80 ERA and 1.667 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Twins will counter with one of the best starters in the league early on in 2019. Martin Perez comes in 4-0 with a 1.64 ERA and 0.970 WHIP in 5 starts. He's been even better than that at home, where he's got a 0.90 ERA and 1.050 WHIP in 3 home starts. Give me the Twins -1.5!

Padres vs. Rockies
Jack’s Free Pick Sunday: Colorado Rockies -114
We’re getting the Colorado Rockies pretty cheap at home here Sunday in the grudge match with he Padres after splitting the first two games in this series. This is a Rockies team that is hot at the plate, scoring 8 or more runs in six of their last nine games overall.
They should stay hot against Nick Margevicius, who is 2-3 with a 3.47 ERA in seven starts this season for the Padres. His worst start came on April 16th at home against Colorado in which he allowed 5 earned runs in 4 innings of a 2-8 loss for an 11.25 ERA.
Antonio Senzatela isn’t off to the best start this season, but he is facing a team that will help him get back on track. Indeed, Senzatela has owned the Padres, going 4-1 with a 2.64 ERA and 1.043 WHIP in five career starts against them. He faced the Padres on April 15th and allowed just one earned run in 6 2/3 innings of a 5-2 victory.
San Diego is actually 1-12 in road games vs. an NL starting pitcher with an ERA of 5.40 or worse over the last three seasons. The Padres are 1-5 in their last six games following a win. Colorado is 5-1 in the last six meetings. Bet the Rockies Sunday.

My free play for Sunday is on the Houston Astros Run Line against the Texas Rangers for a second straight day. The Astros rolled 11-4 yesterday, and I don't see much changing today.
Look, sometimes you have to lay the price with teams like this. And as good as the Astros have been playing, with that offensive lineup, I have to take a shot. The Astros are 14-5 against the rest of the American League West, and they roll in having belted a league second-best 71 home runs this season.
That doesn't bode well for a Rangers staff that has lost seven of 11 and has been outscored by opponents by 23 runs in that span. They're barely hitting better than .200 over those 11 games, and that won't cut it when the Astros have hit nearly .300 in their last 11 and have outscored opponents by 32 runs over that same time frame.
Texas' pitching staff has an ERA of 5.21 - the third-worst ERA in the league - another reason to believe the Astros will be able to have their way at the plate today.
I'll lay the run line with Houston here.

Seattle Mariners in their series-finale.
The Boston Red Sox are surging, while the Seattle Mariners are plunging.
And when the defending World Series champs get rolling, it's hard to overlook that powerful offense.
The Red Sox have outscored Seattle 23-6 in winning the first two games of the series while improving their record above .500 for the first time this season. With the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees in their series finale, this is one more game the Red Sox can gain ground on one of the two teams.
MAKE NOTE: All Run Line/Total plays automatically list pitchers with the starters who are scheduled to go at the time of the wager. But with this game I am not concerned with who goes for either team tonight and want you playing this game on the Run Line regardless. That being said, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to be sure you have action even if one of the pitchers scheduled to start is scratched, by re-wagering the game if that takes place.
I just don't see it mattering much with as well as Boston's lineup has done.
Consider this: the Red Sox came into the month ranked in the bottom-third of the league in scoring. The Red Sox now lead the American League with 75 runs scored after their first 10 games in May. And it's not just the offense that is producing, either, as the team staff has allowed a mere 30 runs in that span.
The Mariners, meanwhile, are now under .500 for the first time this season, as their early-season success is a distant memory. Seattle has lost 11 of its last 13 games and four straight series.
Look for Boston to roll in this one.
3* RED SOX RUN LINE

JACK BRAYMAN
Today my free play is back in this American League East rivalry, as I like the Rays to roll past the boys from the Boogie Down.
The Rays have one of the best records in baseball, sitting at 24-14 and on top of the East. The Rays snapped a two-game skid with yesterday's win, and now look to win this series after splitting the first two of this three-game set.
IMPORTANT: As you know every single Run Line play and Total wager will automatically list the scheduled starting pitchers at the time of the wager. But with this game I am not concerned with who is pitching for either team tonight and want you playing this game on the Run Line regardless. That said, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to be sure you have action even if one of the pitchers scheduled to start is scratched, by betting the game over again in the event that takes place.
Tampa Bay leads the majors with a 2.85 ERA, down three points after yesterday's game. It is the only team that has a staff ERA lower than 3. It's not surprising the relief staff has been just as stellar as the starting rotation, since they set the all-time MLB single-season record last season for most no-decisions by a starter (91) and most wins by a reliever (55).
Tampa Bay's pitchers have done an excellent job at keeping the ball in the park, allowing just 34 home runs, second-lowest in the bigs. And that's saying something, considering March and April 2019 watched more balls leave the park - 1,144 home runs - than any month in baseball history. An average of 2.62 homers per game were hit, one of the highest monthly rates in Major League history.
On offense, the Rays do a good job of manufacturing runs as they rank 5th in batting average (.256), 12th in basehits (334), 9th in extra basehits (131) - including 13 triples, third-best in the bigs - and sixth in stolen bases with 24.
Tampa Bay has the tools, and at home, on a Sunday, it'll get past the Yanks once again.

Reds vs. Giants
1* Free MLB Pick on San Francisco Giants -105
Easy play here on the Giants at basically a pick'em on their home field with ace Madison Bumgarner on the mound. San Francisco will also have plenty of motivation here to avoid getting swept at home by the Reds.
Even with the two wins in this series, Cincinnati is still a mere 17-39 in their last 56 road games. They are also just 3-7 in their last 10 after scoring 5 or more runs in their previous game and 3-8 in their last 11 vs a left-handed starter.
Reds will have Tyler Mahle on the mound. Cincinnati has just 1 win in Mahle's last 12 starts and have lost his last 8 starts on the road. Take San Francisco!

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Philadelphia Phillies -116
We’re getting the Philadelphia Phillies at a good price Sunday as only -116 favorites over the Kansas City Royals. This is Royals team that is one of the worst in baseball at 14-26 on the season, while the Phillies are 22-16. Jake Junis is 3-3 with a 5.52 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in eight starts for the Royals this season. The Phillies are 10-1 in their last 11 during game 3 of a series. The Royals are 24-71 in their last 95 against a team with a winning record. Kansas City is 2-11 in its last 13 interleague home games. Give me the Phillies.

1* on Cleveland Indians +106
The Key: The Cleveland Indians have suffered a couple of hard-luck losses to the A’s to begin this series. Now that they’ve lost the first two games, they don’t want to get swept. I think they grab a victory in Game 3 behind the underrated Jefry Rodriquez. He sports a 2.41 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in his three starts this season. He’ll be opposed by Daniel Mengden, who will be making his first start of the season for the A’s today and is surely to be on a pitch count. The Indians are 9-2 in their last 11 after losing the first 2 games of a series. Take Cleveland.
