Walker Buehler has a higher ERA yet is 4-2 on the year because he gets run support and the Dodgers have a decent bullpen. The Nationals are one of those teams that just can’t put nine solid innings together. Scherzer is a strikeout machine and with just 1 win this year that tells you everything you need to know about this Washington team. Take the Dodgers.

Maybe it'll make me end up looking like a fool, but I couldn't help but get the sense that Philly's 112-101 win over the Raptors in Game 6 was the team's last gasp effort to fight back, and I just don't trust the Sixers to have another performance like that in them. Honestly, I'm not sure that game as a result of Philly playing well as much as it was just Toronto laying an egg. I don't think Toronto will do that at home in Game 7.

Last year he was 8-5 with an ERA of 2.62 and a more impressive 1.93 ERA at home. In his last two home starts, Buehler has allowed just three earned runs in 13.1 innings. I have Toronto rated the No. 1 team in the East, three points better than Philadelphia. The Sixers are night and day, home and away. Philly is 23-23 SU on the road while being outscored by 2.9 points per game. In Philly, the Sixers are 35-12, winning by 8.3 points per game. The difference is 11.2 points. Toronto's defense is No. 2 in the playoffs. Philadelphia wants to run, but the Raptors want to play half-court basketball. Toronto will control the pace, playing its game and frustrating the Sixers.

Analysis: The Astros should be able to get to one or two of their rival's bullpen members as the Rangers turn to Jesse Chavez as the opener in this contest. With Gerrit Cole on the mound looking for his third consecutive victory while sporting an average of 10 strikeouts per game over his last three starts, Texas isn't going to overcome what will likely be an early deficit given how effective many in the Astros' ranks have been against Chavez over the course of their careers. nalysis: This will be the second portion of a day-night doubleheader and therefore favors the better bullpen. Although the Twins' relievers have had their struggles, the Tigers' corps has often been absolutely dreadful. Lefty Gregory Soto is expected to make his debut for Detroit here and will therefore be working without much of a safety net. Look for the Twins to get promising righty Kohl Stewart some runs in pulling out a comfortable home win. Ride Minnesota on the run-line.
