Cubs -105 over Diamondbacks
Chatwood/Ray
This Cubs team has been decent against left handed pitching while Arizona wishes they could face southpaws all season long, but against right handed pitching they don’t have as much power. Robbie Ray is a streaky pitcher who walks a lot of guys and has not thrown his best stuff as of late. I expect Chicago to take advantage early at home and get themselves back to .500 in the standings. Take the Cubs.

OAKLAND -160
TORONTO @ OAKLAND | 4/21 | 4:07 PM EDT
Oakland starter Brett Anderson (3-0, 2.63 ERA) is off to his best start since 2012 and has won four straight games dating to last season. Meanwhile, Toronto starter Aaron Sanchez has started twice in his career against the A’s and is 0-2 with a 10.80 ERA. My simulations say that Oakland wins this game 73 percent of the time. Take the A’s.

PHILADELPHIA +110
PHILADELPHIA @ COLORADO | 4/21 | 3:10 PM EDT
My simulations have the Phillies winning this game 55 percent of the time, which makes this price a great value. They have one of the top lineups in the National League, ranking in the top five in runs, on-base percentage and OPS, and that translates into a lot of runs in Coors Field. Also, starter Jerad Eickhoff, who struck out six in four innings in his only appearance this year, finally looks healthy. Take the Phillies.

TEXAS +190
HOUSTON @ TEXAS | 4/21 | 3:05 PM EDT
On Saturday night, the Rangers roughed up Gerrit Cole, who gave up nine runs in 4.1 innings pitched. And on Sunday, they face Collin McHugh, who’s excellent but doesn’t have nearly the same stuff as Cole. Much has been made of the Astros’ hot play recently, but Texas has won five of its last six. This money line is too good of a value to pass up.

INDIANA +2.5
BOSTON @ INDIANA | 4/21 | 1:00 PM EDT
The Pacers have yet to score triple-figures in a game this series. Eventually one would think things even out, and my projections say it's Sunday as they look to stave off elimination. Indiana actually wins 51 percent of my simulations, but take the points to avoid a last-second letdown.

ORLANDO +5.5
TORONTO @ ORLANDO | 4/21 | 7:00 PM EDT
The Magic were a 5.5-point underdog in Game 3 at home and fell by five. The spread is the same, and my computer model sees an even-closer game as Orlando looks to stay in the series. The Magic actually win 48 percent of my simulations straight-up, and cover in 60 percent.

PORTLAND @ OKLAHOMA CITY | 4/21 | 9:30 PM EDT
The Thunder beat the Pacers in Game 3 in OKC, but Damian Lillard did all his damage in one quarter and the defense wasn't Blazers-like. My projections see adjustments in both those aspects, and for this game to come down to the wire. The Blazers cover this spread in a whopping 61 percent of my simulations. Jump on Portland.

UNDER 8.5 N.Y. METS @ ST. LOUIS | 4/21 | 2:15 PM EDT
I don't think St. Louis starter Dakota Hudson is nearly as bad as his early results in the bigs suggest, as he's a sinker ball pitcher who has had trouble locating his sinker. He, along with Mets starter Noah Syndergaard, should both be helped today by umpire Bruce Dreckman, who has a friendly strike zone for the both of them.

CHI. WHITE SOX +100
CHI. WHITE SOX @ DETROIT | 4/21 | 1:10 PM EDT
I love the White Sox at this price in this game. Detroit's sending Daniel Norris to the mound, and he struggles against right-handed hitters. The White Sox have plenty of right-handed power, and the wind is blowing out to left, which should only help their cause.

MIAMI +145
WASHINGTON @ MIAMI | 4/21 | 1:10 PM EDT
The Marlins offense has been bad, but metrics suggest it's been a bit unlucky as well, and with Strasburg on the mound, it's moving the line a bit too far in the visitor's direction. Also, Miami starter Trevor Richards does a decent enough job of limiting hard contact, and the Nats don't have Anthony Rendon today. Miami wins this game often enough to make it worth the price.
2-1 IN LAST 3 MLB PICKS | +80
TORONTO -5.5
TORONTO @ ORLANDO | 4/21 | 7:00 PM EDT
The Raptors have only covered one of the first three games in this series, but that doesn't worry me here. Toronto will look to put its foot on Orlando's throat here and essentially wrap up the series by taking a 3-1 lead before heading back north.

BOSTON -3
BOSTON @ INDIANA | 4/21 | 1:00 PM EDT
We've seen in this series that Indiana can compete in spurts against the Celtics, but over the course of the 48 minutes, Boston's talent has won out. The Celtics have not only won each game, but they've covered all three as well. This afternoon they complete both sweeps.

The Warriors righted the ship in Game 3 after that epic Game 2 collapse, but now the Clippers have the opportunity to bounce back. Doc Rivers is one of the game's top coaches and the Clippers have been the No. 6 team against the spread in the NBA. It's too many points for the prideful Clips.

Portland is an underappreciated No. 3 seed, and now Damian Lillard has been challenged. The Blazers won the first two games of the series and lost Game 3 because the OKC shot lights-out on 3's. It shot too lights-out to expect a repeat performance. Lillard should score more than seven points in the first, second and fourth quarters combined, too. I like Portland to keep it close.

Temperatures in the upper 60's with the wind blowing out at Wrigley will help this Cubs lineup more than it will help Arizona. Look for Robbie Ray to struggle with the power right-handed bats like Bryant, Baez, Conteras and Bote. I have the Cubs winnings 55 percent of simulations with Chatwood on the mound.

There's no way the once-struggling Red Sox could pull off the sweep at first-place Tampa Bay Sunday, is there? Against Tyler Glasnow who has allowed just three runs in four starts and winning all four? Why not? It's momentum, and the champs feel confident right now. And best of all, they're hitting. The key on Sunday is David Price coming off seven shutout innings with seven Ks and no walks. Boston gets the win.

I think Shane Bieber is my new favorite pitcher. After dominating hitters in Arizona's dry air during spring -- much harder to do than Flordia spring -- he's gone out and dominated regular-season lineups in his first three starts, allowing just three runs combined with the Indians winning all three. Look for a pitcher's duel with Bieber bettering Max Fried. Indians are the play.

Rotation #565-566
Pacers +3.5 over Celtics
You could make an argument that the Pacers have been the better team in this series yet they are indeed down 3-0 trying to avoid elimination tonight on their home court. This is an Indiana team that has been banged up, but they have fought incredibly hard. Sometimes a 50/50 game just doesn’t go your way and you get yourself behind the 8 ball. Indiana has been competitive and at the very least I expect them to not get swept at home. Take the Pacers.

Rotation #571-572
Blazers +6 over Thunder
The Thunder took almost 40 foul shots in the last game. Typically the next game in a series that team doesn’t get all the breaks they did the game before. I had my doubts about Portland because of the turnover in their roster and their injury to their big man, but this front court is amazing. Damian Lillard is outstanding and I believe this team will again get hot from the three point line. When a team can hit their three pointers there is nothing the opposition can do but sit back and watch. This Portland team needs to get over their road woes. Lillard and McCollum should spark the offense to do just that. Take the Blazers.
