I am backing the Jazz to play their best game of this series, as Utah defends their home floor on Saturday night in Salt Lake City.
Quin Snyder will make the adjustments needed to avoid the insurmountable 0-3 hole the Jazz would fall into if they try and employ the same style of game that had no success in Space City earlier this week.
For one thing, Utah simply cannot continue to look to match three-balls with James Harden and his mates, as the Jazz Men are a dismal 15-for-65 (23%) from behind the arc in this series. They are not a team built to win games by camping out behind the arc and firing away.
Utah needs to - and will - turn this into a half-court affair, use their defense to slow down Houston, and then find the open man when on the offensive end and knock down those open shots that tend to fall a little easier when they shoot them on their home hardwood.
Utah had a 29-12 record on their home court this season, and they have won their last 8 games at home straight up, while covering in 5 of those 8.
Houston is just 17-23-1 against the spread this year on the road, and even though they are saying the right things about knowing they cannot let their guard down just because they are up 2-0 in the series, they will be facing a very desperate Utah team whose lead player is overdue for a bust-out game.
I am talking about Donovan Mitchell who is averaging only 15 points for the first 2 games of this series, and has shot it at just 12-for-37 in the pair of blowout road losses.
Strong home court in play tonight as the fans will their team - and the slumping Mitchell - to the win that keeps their season alive on Saturday night.

After getting booed out of their own arena in the opening game of the series last Saturday when they were beat 111-102, Philly has responded to Brooklyn's challenge with a 145 point output in Game Two on their home floor in a game that easily landed Over the total. The Sixers then traveled to Brooklyn for Thursday's Game Three and netted another 131 points to also land Over the total, and that was without Joel Embiid and his 22.5 points through the opening pair of games in the lineup due to his knee soreness.
I don't think the Nets can stop the Sixers from scoring, and so I believe even though this total has been bumped up a couple of baskets, I still believe we are headed for a third straight series Over!
Dating back to the regular season, 5 of the last 6 times the teams have met have landed Over the posted price, so no reason to think that these defense are going to suddenly stop one another, and also no reason to think the now in-rhythm Tobias Harris - just 4 points in the opening game, but 48 points in the last pair of games, including a 6-of-6 night from behind the arc on Thursday - will be held in single-digits anytime soon in this series.
Philly enters this game with 4 of their last 5 dating back to the regular season, and 7 of their last 9 games overall having played Over the total, while Brooklyn is also on an Over run that dates back to the regular campaign, as 8 of their last 14 have landed in the Over column.
D'Angelo Russell and Caris Lavert continue to give Kenny Atkinson's team the bulk of their offense, and if Joe Harris who is 0-of-6 over the past 2 games of this series (his 47.4% for the season from behind the arc led the NBA this season) can regain his touch, I have a feeling we are going to be seeing some big number quarters between the teams in this Saturday matinee from Barclays Center.

This is a great spot and price to back the Rockies at home against the Phillies. Colorado rallied late an eventually beat Philadelphia 4-3 on Friday, despite getting out-hit 17-8. That's going to be a really tough loss for the Phillies to swallow and a win that the Rockies can build on. Colorado has won 5 straight overall.
The value with the Rockies stems from the respect that Phillies starter Aaron Nola gets when he's on the mound. Nola was one of the top pitchers in the NL last year and a favorite of many to contend for the Cy Young this season. It just hasn't gone to plan. Nola has a 7.45 ERA and 1.655 WHIP in 4 starts. He's allowed 5 or more runs in each of his last 3 starts, a stretch in which he's also walked 6 batters and served up 5 homers. Coors Field is the last place you want to start when things aren't going well.
Phillies are a mere 7-21 in their last 28 road games, while Rockies are 9-2 in their last 11 home games vs a team with a losing road record. They have also won 10 of Senzatela's last 14 home starts and 14 of their last 19 vs a team from the NL East. Take Colorado!

My free play for Saturday is Game 1 of the doubleheader between the Cleveland Indians Run Line over the Atlanta Braves in Interleague play.
After being postponed, the teams will play a twinbill in Cleveland, and I like the way the Tribe has been playing.
Cleveland comes into this one having won three straight and nine of 13, and while they're still straggling their way through offensive doldrums, they're finding ways to win. And that's what matters.
It's why they're sitting in first place in the American League Central, why they still maintain a +2 in run-differential after 18 games and why they've won 5 of 6 at home this season.
On Wednesday they needed just one run to knock off - and silence - the surprising Seattle Mariners in a 1-0 win. And keep in mind the Mariners had belted home runs in each of their first 19 games; then they were swept by Cleveland.
Though pitchers are automatically listed when making Run Line wagers, I am insisting you DO NOT worry about who the scheduled starters are. In the event of a scratch, you MUST re-wager the game with the new pitcher(s) who are scheduled. This play will stand no matter who pitches for either team.
Besides, Corey Kluber has allowed six runs for twice in three starts, not to mention I simply like the momentum and vibe the Indians are playing with. And many times on the diamond that's what matters most. That said, I do think the two-time American League Cy Young Award recipient is in a good spot to rebound.
The Braves arrived in Cleveland after a 4-1 setback to Arizona, and they'll hand the ball to Touki Toussaint, who was scheduled to start Thursday but was pushed back for rest purposes. Now the kid gets pushed back again, due to a postponement, and he may not be as sharp against a team he has not faced. It wouldn't surprise me to see him getting yanked early against the A.L. Central Division leaders.
