Saturday freebie is the Over in the Caps-Lightning game.
Both Braden Holtby and Andrei Vasilevskiy are top-notch goaltenders, and both have had some solid moments in this series, especially Vasilevskiy who allowed 2 on Thursday, but it could have easily by 6 goals, as the Caps fired away at him all night long.
Right now the offense has trumped the defense, and I do expect another 6 goals or so to be netted on Saturday night.
In the 4 games in the books, 3 of them have seen 6 combined goals, and the other saw 8 combined goals. The Over is 3-1-4 the last 8 skates between the teams.
Washington is 3-2-3 Over in their last 8 this postseason, while Tampa Bay stands at 3-2-4 Over the total in their last 9 of the playoffs.
Hard to expect one of these keepers to keep the other team off the scoreboard, so why not just play the Over and let the shots fire away!

Saturday MLB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Cleveland and Houston at 4:10 pm et on Saturday.
I'll back the 'under' in Houston on Saturday night as we have a terrific pitching matchup between Corey Kluber and Dallas Keuchel on deck.
Kluber is coming off a seven inning performance in which he didn't allow a single earned run against the Royals. He has posted a stellar 2.34 ERA and 0.84 WHIP this season. With that being said, the 'over' has gone 4-1 in his last five starts. I don't believe that's a sustainable trend, however.
Keuchel has settled in over his last couple of starts, giving up just one earned run on eight hits in 15 innings of work. Note that the 'under' is 3-1-1 in his five career starts against the Indians. He has given up two earned runs or less in four of those five outings.
These showcase matchups between elite starting pitchers don't always result in 'pitcher's duels' but in this case I believe that's precisely what we'll see.

The first two games of this series have fallen UNDER the posted number, but with their backs against the wall, we think the Cavaliers will finally get untracked offensively tonight. LeBron James did everything he could in the Game 2 loss, but he’ll need the rest of his team to step up here at home. Boston was able to use tough defensive play to protect home court, but the C’s have been flexible with their approach in the playoffs and they would love nothing more than to turn this one into a shootout. Note as well that Boston has seen the total go OVER the number in 18 of 29 already this year after a win by ten points or more, while Cleveland has seen the total go OVER in 30 of its last 50 after a loss by ten points or more. This number seems a little low, consider the OVER in Game 3.

My 1* Free Play is on the Minnesota Twins (7:10 EST).
Off their 8-3 loss last night, I expect the Twins to bounce back on Saturday.
The visitors hand the ball to Freddy Peralta (1-0, 0.00) who looks poised for regression in my opinion after an unreal debut at Coors Field, striking out 13 over 5.2 scoreless innings on Saturday. The sky is the limit for Peralta, but clearly the sample size is too small to get an accurate read on the rookie yet.
The home side counters with Fernando Romero (2-0, 0.54) who gave up one run off four hits and three walks with five K’s over five innings in an unfortunate no-decision against the Angels on Sunday. So far Romero has conceded just one run with 20 K’s over 16.2 innings of work.
For arguments sake, let’s call these starters a “wash.”
I’ll point out though that Minnesota is 5-2 in its last seven after allowing eight or more runs in its previous contest.
All things being equal here, I don’t think that the home field advantage can be overlooked as a very real factor in this particular matchup either.
Consider Minnesota in this one.

D'Backs vs Mets Free Pick May 19, 2018 I've been going against Arizona all week, and it sure has been profitable. The D'Backs have now lost eight of their last nine overall. Much of the blame will be on slugger Paul Goldchmidt, who struck out a whopping four times last night, and is now batting .091 in the month of May. All this considered, I don't think it's at all reasonable for Arizona to be a road favorite here in Game 2 in New York. Patrick Corbin will toe the slab for Arizona, and his numbers look great. Corbin is 4-1 with a 2.53 ERA, and those are the kind of numbers that could inspire the Bookmakers to list the visitors as a favorite. Keep in mind, he's winless on the road, and his ERA is twice as high as it is at home. Going back the last three years, he has a losing record on the road, and mediocre numbers versus the Mets. New York will counter with Steven Matz, who has been good, not great. Matz (1-3, 3.86 ERA) allowed one run on five hits in five innings, not factoring in the decision in a win at Philly his last time out. He pitched well in his last start against Arizona, striking out nine batters in six innings, allowing a pair of runs on five hits. Injuries have taken their toll on the D'Backs, who are likely to be without A.J. Pollock and Steven Souza Jr. tonight. Pollock leads the team in hits, runs, RBIs and home runs. Take NYM. My free play for tonight is on the Miami Marlins over the Atlanta Braves, and in this one I want you listing the scheduled starting pitchers: Jose Urena and Sean Newcomb.
Urena, who has been pitching well and will be out for revenge after losing to the Braves and Newcomb last week. The right-hander has an ERA of 2.84 in his last four starts, and yet he has yet to win a game this season. Dating back, the Marlins are 0-9 in his starts.
So when Urena faces the Braves for the second straight start, after giving up three runs in six innings on Sunday in Miami, there is plenty of motivation.
Newcomb, meanwhile, brings a streak of 20 consecutive scoreless innings as he faces the Marlins for the second time this week. The left-hander has allowed two hits or fewer without allowing a run in each of his past three starts. He has a 1.70 ERA over his past seven starts, but is long overdue for a bad game.
Take the Marlins and list both.
